There will be a lot of new faces on contending teams starting tonight!
Yesterday’s MLB Trade Deadline was bonkers! But because yesterday was a seller’s market, many of the lower-tier teams look extremely weak heading into the rest of the week.

Washington Nationals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
- Leg 1: Ketel Marte Over 1.5 Total Bases (-135)
- Leg 2: Eugenio Suarez Over 1.5 Total Bases (+155)
- Leg 3: Jose Herrera Over .5 Hits (-180)
The Nationals were one of the many sellers at the deadline. They’re depleted, especially in the bullpen.
They’ll start MacKenzie Gore, a left-handed pitcher who has struggled against righties over the last month. Gore has allowed a .175 ISO and wOBA of .377, with more than 35% of fly balls allowed to righties. In addition, he’s allowed 50% of hard contact and has only struck out 21.1% of righties over the last 30 days.
He’ll compete against some red-hot righties in the Arizona lineup. Ketel Marte has smashed a .273 ISO and wOBA of .525 against his last 35 lefties. Marte has also struck out just 14.3% of the time against lefties in the previous month.
Also in the lineup is right-handed power slugger Eugenio Suarez. His power surge has been excellent recently. The right-hander has hit a .259 ISO and wOBA of .362 against lefties over the last month.
Finally, the Diamondbacks will likely start Jose Herrera at catcher. He’s already got a .333 ISO in three at-bats against Gore. As a switch-hitter, it’s worth taking a gamble that he’ll earn a base hit as a righty against Gore.

Colorado Rockies vs. Los Angeles Angels
- Leg 1: Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
- Leg 2: Brent Doyle Over 1.5 Total Bases (+135)
- Leg 3: Zach Neto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)
The Colorado Rockies will pitch Kyle Freeland in tonight’s showdown. Freeland has allowed a .263 ISO and wOBA of .373 to his last 100 batters. As a left-handed thrower, he mainly faces right-handed hitters.
Zach Neto is one of the only consistent hitters against lefties the Angels have. The right-handed shortstop has smacked a .273 ISO and wOBA of .515 with only 18.2% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month.
On the other hand, Davis Daniel will pitch for the Angels. He’s a righty, but he’s also struggled against righties more since starting for the Angels.
Against his first 34 right-handed batters, Daniel has given up a .242 ISO and wOBA of .402.
Ezequiel Tovar and Brenton Doyle are two right-handed Rockies bats who have consistently delivered against righties over the last month. Tovar has hit a .291 ISO and wOBA of .439 against his last 57 righties, while Doyle has knocked a .509 ISO and wOBA of .521 against his last 58 righties.
Add both righties to earn at least two total bases in tonight’s game to close out this parlay.
