The MLB season continues with more Friday night baseball on tap. The MLB playoff race is heating up with Wild Card spots up for grabs in both leagues. Let's turn our attention to today's slate with 15 games and every team in action. There are plenty of options for MLB picks and props. It's time to dive into the matchups and dish out a pair of MLB same-game parlays (SGPs) featuring player props and juicy plus-money odds.

Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals

Let's lead off our same-game parlays with a National League East matchup between Miami and Washington. The visiting Marlins should get the victory with a few key edges in their favor. Use the Moneyline to anchor our parlay with some player props mixed in.
Eury Perez gets the start for Miami. The right-hander has been lights-out lately, posting a 1.93 ERA over seven outings since the All-Star break. He also boasts a 1.67 ERA over his past 13 starts. Perez now faces a Washington offense with a league-low .204 batting average against righties over the past two weeks.
In terms of his hits allowed prop, Perez has allowed just a .210 xBA this season, which ranks in the 83rd percentile. He’s gone under 4.5 hits allowed in 13 of his last 17 starts coming into today. Perez has also allowed fewer than 4.5 hits in six of his last seven road outings.
On the other side, Jackson Kent starts for the Nationals. The left-hander has a rough 8.03 ERA and 2.11 WHIP over three starts since his August call-up. The Marlins should get to him and provide Perez some run support.
Otto Lopez and Javier Sanoja are two Miami hitters to target in this matchup. Lopez is crushing left-handed pitching this year with a .352 batting average and .856 OPS in the split. He's also hitting .303 over the past nine games. As for Sanoja, he's batting .333 with an .881 OPS against lefties this year. He comes in red-hot as well, with a .344 average and .898 OPS over the last 19 games.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Detroit Tigers

Let's now turn our attention to the Tigers hosting the Dodgers on Friday night. Tarik Skubal is the headliner in his return to Detroit for the first time since being traded to Los Angeles. Bank on him to show out against his old squad to anchor our same-game parlay.
Skubal is coming off an excellent start last weekend, racking up 11 strikeouts against the Pirates. After allowing three runs in the first frame, he settled down and threw six scoreless innings. The left-hander now owns a 2.60 FIP on the season, including a 2.51 ERA and 2.10 FIP over his last 10 starts.
Maybe there's some emotion for a pitcher facing his former team so soon after a trade. Let's hope Skubal uses that to his advantage, especially with the game being in Detroit. Plus, the Tigers have struggled mightily to hit left-handed pitching lately. They have a league-low .246 wOBA and .189 batting average against lefties over the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers should provide run support in their own matchup. Drew Anderson is slated to start for Detroit. The right-hander has a 4.09 ERA this season, and his 5.57 FIP over his past four starts is worrisome. Los Angeles should be motivated to get back on track after being swept by the Braves this week.
Freddie Freeman and Tommy Edman can both lead the charge for the Dodgers’ offense. Freeman is hitting .318 with an .892 OPS against right-handed pitching this year. He also boasts a .333 batting average and .959 OPS on the road. As for Edman, he brings in a .303 batting average and .888 OPS on the road this season. He's also on a mini hot streak, hitting .308 with a .976 OPS over the past seven games.
