With two full months already gone by in the Major League Baseball season, there is plenty of data to scour for today’s MLB same-game parlays (SGPs) as June begins.
I focus on a divisional rivalry in this column, and am looking to build momentum for the week with one or two profitable SGP cashes.
Let’s dive into the two best MLB SGPs for Monday, June 1st.

Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals
- Leg 1: Nationals Moneyline (-143)
- Leg 2: YRFI (-115)
- Leg 3: CJ Abrams Over 0.5 RBI (+149)
Marlins righty Sandy Alcantara was on fire early, going seven-plus innings in each of his first three starts en route to career bests in xBA, hard-hit rate and swinging strike rate over that span.
However, Alcantara recorded a 5.76 ERA and 4.53 FIP over his next eight outings before his last start. Though he threw a scoreless first inning in his last start, he also allowed eight earned runs and three homers against the Blue Jays.
All of those trends bode well for Washington’s chances of winning outright and scoring early in the first inning. I am also buying CJ Abrams’ role in the team’s offensive production. Seven of Alcantara’s nine home runs allowed have been to left-handed batters, who are slugging .491 against him.
While I would not put anyone off backing Abrams’ home run odds as a result, I am going the safer route with him to drive in a run while snapping a three-game RBI drought.

New York Mets vs. Seattle Mariners
- Leg 1: Mariners Moneyline (-149)
- Leg 2: NRFI (-130)
- Leg 3: Julio Rodriguez Over 0.5 RBI (+218)
We're getting great value on this no runs first inning (NRFI) play, as the Mets had originally announced southpaw Sean Manaea was making his first start after 12 relief appearances, but they instead pivoted to Austin Warren as an opener.
Manaea should still eat up the bulk of the later innings in this game, and has an eye-popping .294 opponents’ batting average allowed to left-handed batters and a .291 mark against righties.
Meanwhile, Emerson Hancock and his 1.64 first-inning ERA should match zeros early. Hancock has allowed two runs in the first inning over 11 starts, and his .154 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) in that frame is his second-best of any inning this year, trailing only his .125 BABIP in the fourth inning.
Julio Rodriguez finished May with 10 homers, two more than he has ever hit in a single month in his career. His third dinger of a three-game home run streak came against Diamondbacks righty Ryne Nelson, who had never allowed more than two home runs in any of his previous 89 starts.
Through the first 58 games in each of the previous four seasons, Rodriguez never had a slugging rate better than .442 or a wRC+ higher than 122.
This season, Rodriguez was slugging .457 through 58 games with a 125 wRC+. He also had his second-best on-base percentage and strikeout rate of any season in that split dating back to 2022.
Parlay Odds: +840
