San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies
- Leg 1: Rafael Devers Over 1.5 Total Bases (-145)
- Leg 2: Hunter Goodman Over 1.5 Total Bases (-140)
- Leg 3: Robbie Ray Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+116)
The Colorado Rockies will likely start Tanner Gordon tonight. The right-handed pitcher has allowed a .205 ISO and a wOBA of .354 to his last 46 lefties. In addition, those lefties have hit a .367 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) with a 12.5% barrel rate. Gordon has also allowed 43.8% of fly balls to lefties over the last month.
Gordon will take on Rafael Devers, who has hit a .333 ISO and a wOBA of .428 against his last 85 righties. He’s also added 41.1% of fly balls with a team-best 16.1% barrel rate and 67.9% of hard contact. This is a great spot for Devers.
On the other hand, lefty Robbie Ray gets the call for the Giants. He has allowed a .351 ISO and a wOBA of .409 to his last 90 righties.
Ray has allowed over 40% of fly balls and has given up a 12.5% barrel rate to righties over the last month. Hunter Goodman should take advantage. The Rockies catcher has hit a .242 ISO and a wOBA of .344 against his last 34 lefties this season.
That said, the Rockies still have five batters who have struck out at least 25.9% of the time against lefties over the last 30 days. Ray’s strikeout rate has decreased over the last 30 days, but it should rise back up against the Rockies. Let’s add his over 5.5 strikeouts at +116 odds to conclude this parlay.
Parlay Odds: +545
New York Yankees vs. Athletics
- Leg 1: Paul Goldschmidt Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
- Leg 2: Anthony Volpe Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)
- Leg 3: Jose Caballero Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
We’re stacking Yankees right-handed batters tonight with Jacob Lopez slated to take the mound for the Athletics.
Lopez has allowed a .319 ISO and a wOBA of .404 to his last 80 righties. Those righties have hit 35% of fly balls and 30% of line drives over the last 30 days. Lopez has also struck out just 17.5% of righties over the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, Paul Goldschmidt has hit a .552 ISO and a wOBA of .645 against lefties over the last 30 days. Anthony Volpe has added a .400 ISO and a wOBA of .548 against lefties, without striking out in his last 13 plate appearances. Jose Caballero has smacked a .364 ISO and a wOBA of .405 with only 16.7% of strikeouts against lefties.
Let’s see if these three can continue their dominance against left-handed pitchers tonight.
Parlay Odds: +740
