Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles
- Leg 1: Chris Bassitt Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-158)
- Leg 2: Pete Alonso Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 3: Coby Mayo Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
The Baltimore Orioles are set to pitch righty Chris Bassitt tonight. He has struck out only 15.2% of batters this season.
While Bassitt’s strikeout rate has increased over the last month, he’s facing a Blue Jays lineup that has struck out only 19.3% of the time against righties over the last month. There are really only three big targets for Bassitt when it comes to strikeouts, so it’ll be difficult for him to land at least five strikeouts.
On the other hand, Patrick Corbin will get the start for the Blue Jays. He’s allowed a .162 ISO and a wOBA of .345 to his last 87 righties. Therefore, we’ll stack right-handed hitters from the Orioles’ lineup.
Pete Alonso has hit a .222 ISO and a wOBA of .373 against his last 38 lefties. Coby Mayo has also added a .263 ISO and a wOBA of .450 over the last 30 days against lefties. Let’s add them to go over their respective total bases props to this parlay.
Parlay Odds: +614
Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
- Leg 1: Konnor Griffin Over 1.5 Total Bases (+145)
- Leg 2: Colin Rea Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-148)
- Leg 3: Paul Skenes Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-118)
It’ll be Colin Rea on the mound for the Chicago Cubs tonight. The righty has struggled against right-handed hitters, allowing a .289 ISO and a wOBA of .3332 to his last 48 righties. Those righties have struck out only 12.5% of the time against Rea over the last 30 days. Plus, Rea has allowed a 25.6% barrel rate to righties over the last 30 days.
Konnor Griffin has been heating up as a right-handed batter against right-handed pitching. He’s hit a .156 ISO and a wOBA of .343 against righties in the last month.
Griffin struck out 24.4% of the time against other righties in the last 30 days. However, the rest of the lineup doesn’t have high strikeouts against righties. The Pirates’ projected lineup has struck out just 21.5% of the time against righties in the last 30 days.
Paul Skenes has a 28.5% strikeout rate over the last 30 days. However, Chicago’s lineup has struck out just 20% of the time against righties. The Cubs will compete against Skenes and don’t have many batters who strike out at a high rate against righties.
Parlay Odds: +595
