We’re treated to a full MLB slate to celebrate the start of the weekend. So many games present a myriad of props to choose from, but I’ll stick to what I know best: pitcher props. Here are three of my favorites for this Friday, April 19.

Friday’s Best MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
Sleeper Record: 32-19
Blake Snell has always struggled with his control. He tries to lurk bats outside of the zone but he rarely finds it. He issued three or more free passes in 22-of-32 starts last season. So far he has operated with a pretty low pitch count of 78 and 72 pitches, but it’s fair to reason that he will last a little longer in this contest. Operating with that belief, if he stayed in the game for closer to 90 pitches, I like his chances to get over this mark at the 2.03x price we’re getting.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto continues to come through for us on this line. It’s only fitting to back him once again. Yamamoto possesses some incredible stuff on his pitches and is capable of finding six strikeouts against any opponent. He struck out five Cardinals bats on just 68 pitches, eight Cubs batters across five innings and six Padres in just five innings in his last start. The Mets aren’t the easiest squad to punch out but they have yet to face Yamamoto. He should be able to stifle them, similar to the other opponents he has faced.
Spencer Turnbull was excellent in his first two outings against the Reds and Cardinals but took a step back last start. Although he went just four innings, allowing three runs and four walks against the Pirates, he did manage to stay under this line with just four hits allowed. Against Cincinnati and St. Louis, though, he allowed just five total hits and one walk across 11 combined unearned scoreless innings. In an amazing matchup against the White Sox, he should manage to stay under this line again.
Chicago owns the worst wRC+ (73) and second-worst batting average (.201) against right-handed pitching. Nine of the 14 righties to face them have stayed under this mark. Even after that last start, he is worth playing given the matchup.
