Thursday wasn’t the best for the Sleeper series, as the player predictions went 1-2. Hunter Greene fell apart at the very end of his start to make it a negative day. Let’s get back on track as we head into the weekend. Here are three of my favorite MLB Sleeper picks and player predictions for Friday, May 10.

Patrick the Piñata pitches at Fenway Park tomorrow. He's gone this line in six of his seven starts this year and he went over in 21/32 games last season. Patrick Corbin ranks in the bottom ninth percentile in H/9, eighth in K%, third in CSW% and 23rd in average exit velocity. The Red Sox haven’t been amazing against lefties this season, but who cares, it’s Corbin.
Logan Webb loves pitching at home. Since last year, he has been under this line in 14/19 starts. For his career, he has a 2.95 xFIP at home, compared to a 3.48 xFIP on the road. Now he draws an amazing matchup against Cincinnati, who have the fourth-worst wRC+ (80) against right-handed pitching. Eighteen of the 23 right-handed starters against them have stayed under this line.
This line is ridiculous considering who Ranger Suarez is facing. The Marlins are pathetic against left-handed pitching. They rank 29th in wRC+ (66) and 25th in batting average (.218), and they just traded the best contact hitter in the league away in Luis Arraez. Ten of the 15 lefties to face them have stayed under this line and their roster is just 13-66 (.197 batting average) when facing Suarez. The Phillies southpaw ranks in the top 94th percentile in H/9, 92nd in xERA, 95th in xFIP, 93rd in BB%, 81st in K% and 70th in CSW%. He has stayed under this in 5/7 starts.
