I wrote this up last game and it hit in the first quarter, so yes, of course, we’re going right back to it. Josh Hart will be on the floor for every waking second of this game and has recorded five turnovers in both Games 1 and 2 of this series. They’re letting him rebound and run up and down the floor with the ball, and ball-handling isn’t his best skill. Now without OG Anunoby and an injured Jalen Brunson, look for Hart to see even more time on the ball in Game 3.
Nikola Jokic More Than 28.5 Points
The Nuggets no-showed at home in the first two games of the series, and are in desperation mode. Look for Jokic to put the team on his back and score, especially now that Gobert is back. With Rudy in the fold, Jokic is far more likely to see single coverage. In games with Rudy Gobert this year, Jokic has scored 32 (Game 1), 41, 32, and 25 points. He didn’t even shoot very well in Game 1 but had 25 field goal attempts. When he has put up 20+ FGA’s this year, he is over this line in 25-of-34 games (74%).
T.J. McConnell More Than 16.5 Points+Assists
The Pacers are a better team against the Knicks when McConnell is on the floor. Indiana is +19 when McConnell is playing, compared to -13 when he is on the bench. He has played just 22 and 23 minutes in Games 1 and 2 but has put up 21 and 22 Points+Assists in those contests. With how well they have faired with him on the floor, it would only make sense for him to see an increase in time going forward. When he plays 20+ minutes with Haliburton, he is over this line in 19-of-25 (76%) averaging 20.3 P+A this season.
