We’ve got a full 15-game slate, including a Mexico City matchup between the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies. While I won’t make a prop selection in that game, there should be plenty of runs. You’ll absolutely want to tune into that one!
Here are some MLB Sleeper picks to consider for the slate!

Saturday's Best MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
Brendan Donovan Over .5 Hits (1.33x)
Brendan Donovan should be the Cardinals’ lead-off hitter today. He’s a left-handed hitter who has a .157 ISO and wOBA of .345 against his last 386 righties.
More importantly, Donovan has struck out only 15% of the time against righties since last year.
He’ll take on Adrian Houser of the Mets, who has watched lefties hit a .158 ISO and wOBA of .357 against him this season. Houser has only struck out 10.9% of lefties and has allowed 33.3% of fly balls to lefties to begin the year.
Donovan will likely get five at-bats. He should be able to get a hit in at least one of them!
Ben Brown Over 4.5 Ks (1.69x)
The Chicago Cubs will throw Ben Brown for tonight’s matchup against the Red Sox. Brown has struck out 24% of batters to begin the year. He’s also held his first 75 batters to a .103 ISO and wOBA of .258 while giving up only 8% of walks.
That said, he’ll take on a Red Sox lineup that has struck out 26.8% of the time against righties. Boston’s projected lineup features seven batters who have struck out at a high rate against righties. Only Rafael Devers and Pablo Reyes have been able to limit strikeouts against righties.
Brown has had more success with strikeouts against righties. Luckily, he’ll take on four righties in the Boston lineup that have combined to strike out more than 30% of the time since last season.
Matt Olson Over .5 Home Runs (3.07x)
Matt Olson has a tremendous matchup tonight.
The left-handed slugger is facing Tanner Bibee of the Guardians, who has already allowed a .238 ISO and wOBA of .387 to his first 74 lefties. Bibee has also struck out just 18.9% of lefties this season, allowing more than 30% of fly balls to lefties.
Meanwhile, Matt Olson has smashed a .337 ISO and wOBA of .438 since last season, with 22.1% of strikeouts.
Ranger Suarez Under 4.5 Ks (1.59x)
Ranger Suarez, the Phillies’ left-hander, will get the call. Suarez has already struck out 27.1% of batters while holding teams to a .062 ISO and a wOBA of .195.
These are terrific numbers. However, his strikeout rate has risen from 22.5% to 27.1%. Suarez will likely start to see his strikeout rate drop against teams that don’t strike out very often.
The Padres’ projected lineup has only struck out 18.5% of the time against lefties since last year. Only Jake Cronenworth, Eguy Rosario, and Jose Azocar have high strikeout numbers. The rest of the lineup has struck out below 19% of the time against lefties.
With few targets to work with, take Suarez’s Under on the strikeouts.
