That’s more like it. A 3-0 day of MLB Sleeper picks capped off Wednesday, with three pitcher strikeout props coming through. With it being Thursday, we have a limited slate in the MLB, but that doesn’t change the formula here. Here are three of my favorite MLB player picks and predictions via Sleeper for Thursday’s slate of baseball games.

It worked out with Jordan Hicks yesterday, so let’s turn to the next righty in the Giants rotation. The rain got in the way of his last start, hence the terrible stat line, but Keaton Winn should rebound here. The Rockies are pathetic against right-handed pitching. They own the worst wRC+ (71) and third-worst K% (28.3%) when facing righties this season. Typically, Coors Field has been a tough place to pitch, but so far that has not been the case this season and their rates are slightly worse. Winn isn’t some world-beater, but he doesn’t have to be. He has gone over this mark in four of his seven starts.
The Diamondbacks have struggled at the plate over the past couple of weeks. They are 25th in wRC+ (71) over the past three weeks against righties. Ten of the last 13 right-handed starters to face them across this period have stayed under this mark, so should the Reds ace. Hunter Greene is under this line in five of his seven starts and ranks in the top 89th percentile in xERA and 83rd in K%.
Anytime I see the name Tobias I think of Tobias Funke from Arrested Development in his damn cutoff jeans. Tobias Myers takes on the Cardinals who have been abysmal at the plate, owning the fifth-highest K% (24.7%) and are tied for 22nd in wRC+ (91) against righties. Myers isn’t anything special, but like most starters, can find four punchouts on any given day. He probably won’t go longer than five innings. He has gone over this line in two of his three starts. Nineteen of the last 25 right-handed starters to face St. Louis have exceeded this line.
