Sleeper Record: 122-75 (61.9%)

Logan Webb More Than 5.5 Strikeouts (1.97x)

Compared to last year’s offense, this Braves offense is putting up Minor League numbers. Injuries have done them no favors, but their recent form is too strong to ignore. Over the past 30 days, they have the fifth-highest K% (25%) and are 26th in wRC+ (79) versus right-handed pitching. They face a solid righty today, taking on Logan Webb, who has found at least six strikeouts in eight of his past 11 starts. Look for him to keep that streak alive against this slumping lineup at a solid price.

Zach Eflin Less Than 0.5 Walks (2.43x)

Are you ready to sweat before the first pitch from Zach Eflin is even thrown? Well, you shouldn’t, because he has elite control. Eflin ranks in the top 99th percentile in BB% amongst starting pitchers, right around where he has resided over the past few seasons. He has stayed under this mark in nine of his 15 starts, presenting incredible value given the price we are getting. The Royals aren’t known for their walking pedigree either, ranking 20th in BB% (7.9%) against righties on the season.

JP Sears Less Than 4.5 Strikeouts (1.91x)

JP Sears is not one to strike out many batters. He ranks in the bottom 16th percentile in K% and 24th in CSW% amongst all starting pitchers. Oakland’s lefty has stayed under this in seven of his past 10 starts and failed to eclipse this mark in all four career starts against the Angels. They might not string together many runs against him, but the Halos are capable of putting the ball in play. Six of the nine projected bats in the lineup have a strikeout rate of 20% or less against southpaws.
