In spite of a minuscule four-game slate, we managed to find another 2-1 result on Monday. We aren’t bound by slim picking today though, with a 15-game slate on tap. Here are three of my favorite player props for Tuesday, September 24.

The Guardians develop starters as well as anyone in the league. Tanner Bibee is a solid mid-rotation starter with some solid swing-and-miss stuff, capable of shutting down an inferior lineup such as the one he faces today. Cincinnati is in town, and rank 15th in wRC+ (102) against righties over the past 30 days. Bibee has stayed under this mark in 19 of his 30 starts this year, and 19 of 25 last season. Add that all up and we’re looking at a 69% hit rate for his young career.
This is a lofty line for Schmidt in a matchup with the Orioles. They have had his number in the past, at least in terms of strikeouts, and have a combined 21.5% K% across 93 plate appearances against him. Baltimore faced Schmidt earlier this season and struck out just five times in his 5.2 innings of work. Schmidt has stayed under this line in nine of his 14 starts on the season.
No matter the matchup, Michael King is in play to find plenty of punchouts. He ranks in the 97th percentile in CSW% and 92nd percentile in K% among starters after all. King has exceeded this line in 18 of his last 22 starts as well. It won’t be an easy task taking on the Dodgers, but King is up to the challenge, so let’s back him here on the road.
