It’s Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals! While not every game was competitive, it’s been a super competitive series. Whoever wins tonight will head to the NBA Finals and send the loser packing.
Both teams want to get off to a hot start, but only one team can score first. I’ll suggest a first basket wager for tonight’s game below.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The San Antonio Spurs continue to win the opening tip in the playoffs, with Victor Wembanyama. In Game 6, Wemby won the tip, and Julian Champagnie nailed the first basket with a three-point shot.
This isn’t new for Wemby and the Spurs, either. Wembanyama won the opening tip over 90 percent of the time during the regular season. The Spurs didn’t score at the highest rate, but they had the most chances to score first throughout the year. Now, they’re taking advantage in the playoffs.
In the previous playoff series, Wembanyama scored first most of the time. In this series against the Thunder, it’s been a lot of the support cast scoring first.
On the road, the Spurs will look to get Wembanyama going right off the bat. Let’s give him a try at +350 odds tonight.
Pick: Victor Wembanyama (+350)
