Nikola Jokic Over 28.5 Points (-120)
Denver has looked much better recently, winning five of their last eight games. The offense has been great during that span, scoring 120+ points in six of those games.
There's no debate that Nikola Jokic is the key to this team's success. He looks like he could win another MVP award as he's averaging 30.7 points, 12.6 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game, which all rank third in the league. It doesn't matter that he'll play in back-to-back games; Jokic has scored at least 25 points in each of the second legs of a back-to-back this year.
Detroit is on a three-game winning streak, and they've been able to score. The Nuggets just played in a game that totaled 284 points, so this could be another high-scoring game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 29.5 Points (-125)
The Thunder shook off the loss in the NBA Cup and won their next four games. We see why they could be championship contenders with how they've won those games; they've won two with defense and allowed under 100 points and the other two with offense by scoring over 120.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played a huge role in those games with back-to-back 40-point performances. Tonight, this run of highlight nights could continue facing the awful Hornets, who have lost six straight. They've also been dreadful at defending the backcourt by allowing the sixth-most points to point guards.
