Sunday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jayson Tatum Under 3.5 Three Pointers (-120)
The Celtics are looking like they could defend their championship. Their 13-3 record is second in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers are the team above them. They can score and defend, but they're averaging a +9.9 point differential because of the volume of three-point shooting, as they lead in threes made per game.
Minnesota is allowing the fewest threes made and is one of the league’s better defensive teams. Jayson Tatum leads the Celtics with 4.1 three-pointers made per game but the Timberwolves are allowing the seventh-fewest threes to forwards.
Kyrie Irving Over 7.5 Assists (+110)
It wasn't the best start for the defending Western Conference champions, as they went 5-7 to start the season. However, things are starting to get better, as they've won four straight, including wins against the Thunder and Nuggets.
You wonder how they'll be without their top star, as Luka Doncic will miss time with a wrist strain. This means Kyrie Irving will be their top offensive option. Defenses will focus on stopping him, so he will need to be able to facilitate the ball. Miami is 17th in defensive assist percentage (64.3%) and is allowing the fourth-most assists to point guards (9.6).
Cam Thomas Under 22.5 Points (-115)
It looks like it will be a rough season for the Nets, and it's starting to get bad as they've dropped four of their last five. The last game had to be one of the lowest points as they lost by 15 to the 76ers without Joel Embiid or Paul George.
Now, they face the Kings, who have been excellent on defense, ranking 12th in defensive efficiency. Their backcourt defense has improved significantly. It could be a tough game for Cam Thomas. They've been especially good against guards, so he should not be a factor.
