With the Emirates Cup behind us, we should get back to a somewhat normal schedule for the league. There are five games to be played this evening - that should offer up tremendous opportunities for the NBA player props department. Here are some of our favorites for Friday, December 19.
Friday's Best NBA Player Props
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Payton Pritchard 5+ Assists (-117)
Payton Pritchard is averaging five assists in the season for the Boston Celtics. Pritchard has eclipsed 5+ assists in 14 out of 25 contests. The guard for Boston is averaging 5.2 assists through the previous 10 games. Pritchard is putting up 5.8 assists over the month of December.
The fiery Boston guard is putting up 4.7 assists when playing at home, and 5.0 assists in five games played on Friday. Pritchard also owns an average of 5.0 assists when playing against the Eastern Conference this season. The Oregon alum is accounting for 23.9% of the assists for the Celtics in 2025-2026.
Pritchard has finished with five assists or more in five consecutive games. The guard for the Celtics is averaging 5.8 assists over that span. Assist props play a lot smoother when playing at home, and we feel Pritchard ends this contest with at least five assists or more against Miami this evening.
Isaac Okoro 8+ Points (-123)
Isaac Okoro may not be one of the first names you come to when discussing selections for player points props. Having said that, the 24-year-old has been picking up the scoring as of late, and gets to face his old team (Cleveland Cavs) for the second time this week. Nostalgia seems to be at the forefront for Okoro when playing Cleveland, and we are going to take another round on this matchup.
Okoro has recorded at least eight points in 11-of-18 games. The forward for Chicago is putting up 10.7 points over the previous three contests. Okoro is averaging 16.5 against the Cavaliers over two contests this season. The young forward has scored more than eight points in each of the two contests.
Okoro is averaging 8.6 points this season, and has scored eight points or more in the previous three out of four games. This is mostly a matchup selection. However, the forward for the Bulls has been on the floor for 64 minutes over two contests against Cleveland this year, compared to a season average of 25.2.
Tyrese Maxey is putting up 315 points over the 2025-2026 campaign. The Philadelphia guard ranks third amongst his peers in regards to points scored per game. Maxey is also connecting on a very solid 46.8% when shooting from the field. The Kentucky product has been on the floor for an average of 39 minutes over the last six contests.
Maxey has reached 27 points in four out of five games played, with an average of 30.1 over the last 10 contests. The guard for the Sixers scores 35 points or more in four out the previous 10 games. Maxey has scored at least 27 points in 16 consecutive contests where Philadelphia is playing as a road underdog against the Eastern Conference.
The Knicks are heading into this contest on a dreadful back-to-back after flying in from Las Vegas for the Emirates Cup. It would not be a surprise to see some of the New York players taking a rest for this contest. This would seriously strengthen our selection for Maxey to score at least 27 points tonight.
Julian Champagnie 9+ Points (-125)
Julian Champagnie is knocking down two baskets from deep each contest. The forward for the Spurs is hitting 38.9% of his attempts when shooting from three-point range. The reason we are mentioning the three-point stats is due to the fact the over/under for Champagnie's three-point makes is at almost -200 for two baskets made from beyond the arc. The sports books are certainly expecting at least two three shot from deep tonight.
That leaves us with three points to make up between two-point field goals and free throws. Champagnie averages over eight attempts each contest, with at least two opportunities at the line. As long as the forward for San Antonio can knock down the two three-point baskets, the odds are favoring that he finishes with nine points or more.
Champagnie is averaging 12.1 points over the last 10 games - including a 25-point performance against Denver on November 28. Champagnie scored 20 points when the Spurs and Hawks last matched up on November 20. The 24-year old looks to be in a prime spot to score nine points or more against Atlanta.
Julius Randle Over 19.5 Points (-106)
Julius Randle is averaging 23 points on 49.2% shooting from the field on the season. The forward for the Timberwolves has recorded 20 points or more in six consecutive contests. Randle finished also with 20 points or more in five previous home games. Randle has only fallen short of the 20-point threshold in one out of seven contests throughout December.
The veteran forward is scoring 20.9 points through the last 10 games, and is knocking down 1.7 baskets from beyond the arc over that span. In the last 10 matchups against OKC, Randle is putting 18.3 points, with 20 or more in six out of 10 games.
The matchup isn't the best by any means. However, Randle is on a scoring surge and we believe that this continues again this evening, resulting in a performance of 20 points or more. The forward for Minnesota has scored 20 points or beyond in two out of the last three games played at home against Oklahoma City.
Enjoy the games today, and best of luck with your picks!
