Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Stephon Castle Over 18.5 Points (-112)
Stephon Castle has scored at least 19 points in four of his last seven games this season. He has averaged about 13 shots per game in the previous 10 games, shooting 46.1% from the field. However, those numbers will likely increase when he faces the Grizzlies.
Memphis ranks dead last in points allowed to point guards this season. The Grizzlies have sent point guards to the foul line frequently and have allowed the most three-pointers by point guards this season.
Castle has averaged nearly four three-point attempts per game and gets to the foul line religiously. He should have a solid game against the Grizzlies tonight.
Bam Adebayo Over 2.5 Assists (-146)
Bam Adebayo has recorded at least three assists in four of his last five games. He even tallied six assists against the Pelicans last time out. In the previous 10 games, Adebayo has averaged 5.2 potential assists per game. But in his previous two games and three of his last four, he’s had more potential assists.
It’s unlikely the potential assists decrease tonight. Adebayo is taking on a Minnesota squad ranked 22nd in the NBA in assists by centers. Plus, he’s averaged 4.6 assists per game against Minnesota, hitting this line in four of his last five games against the Timberwolves. Ultimately, Adebayo has hit this line in four consecutive games against Minnesota.
Let’s take the over on Adebayo’s assists prop tonight.
Zach LaVine Under 20.5 Points (-125)
Zach LaVine has added at least 21 points in just two of his last 10 games. He’s had three games with no more than 10 points in the previous 10 games. In the last game, LaVine saw his usage drop below 20% against Milwaukee. He shot 50% from the field and still couldn’t get to 21 points in that one.
Tonight, LaVine will battle the Mavericks, who rank third in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. Ultimately, LaVine has struggled to score in double figures while shooting 50% in three of his last four games. You could only imagine what would happen when the volume stays the same, but the shots don’t fall.
I’m on LaVine to go under 20.5 points in this one.
