With plenty of NBA games tonight, there are numerous PrizePicks options to choose from. Desmond Bane will look to lead his Memphis Grizzlies against the three-point defense of the New Orleans Pelicans. The short-handed Brooklyn Nets will look to Cameron Johnson against the San Antonio Spurs. Karl-Anthony Towns will look to break out of his slump against the Orlando Magic.

Here are the three best NBA PrizePicks player predictions for Friday, December 27.
Desmond Bane has knocked down at least three three-pointers in four consecutive games. He now leads all Grizzlies with two three-pointers made per game. Tonight, he gets a very favorable matchup against a defense allowing 14.3 threes per game.
While Bane is far from a sure thing from beyond the arc, this number feels a little low due to his previous performance against the Pelicans earlier this season. In that game, he went just 1-of-3 from beyond the arc. But that performance was in the midst of a nine-game stretch where he made one or fewer three-pointers eight times. He's hot right now, and there's no reason to expect him to cool off in such a good matchup.
Cameron Johnson is averaging 3.2 made three-pointers per game this season. In December, he's averaging 3.4 made shots from beyond the arc, as he's made at least four three-pointers in four of his nine games. He's yet to finish a game this month without multiple threes.
While the Spurs rank 13th in the league in three-pointers allowed, they're still allowing 13.4 per contest. Teams are shooting just 35.8% against them this year, but Johnson has had his success despite shooting just 37.2% from deep. This isn't such a bad matchup that we should expect him to have an off night, especially since he's shooting 44.3% in December. With the Nets missing numerous key players, look for Johnson to pick up the slack and hit this more than.
Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 13.7 rebounds per game, but he's pulled down 10 or fewer in three consecutive games. Of course, his current stretch comes after pulling down at least 15 boards in seven consecutive games, so Towns could get hot against anyone and obliterate his season average.
That said, the Magic are allowing the second-fewest rebounds in the league this season. Over their last three games, they're allowing just 47 rebounds per game. Despite these stats, Towns has pulverized this number against the Magic this season.
In his two previous matchups against the team, he pulled down 22 and 15. While this will drive many to take his more than, I'm left questioning why this number isn't set higher. Won't everyone take his more than tonight considering his past performances against the Magic? Don't fall for the PrizePicks’ trap.
