Spicy P hasn’t been at his best to start the year off, and this looks like a get-right spot for him taking on his former employer. The Raptors are one of the worst defensive squads in the game, ranking 27th in adjusted defensive rating. They have also allowed the eighth most points in the paint, where Siakam does most of his work, scoring over 50% of his points from that region, a team-high.
Due to his consistent foul trouble, Duren can be a frustrating player to wager on, but this matchup is too strong to ignore. He faces the Bulls who have been gashed by big men to start the year off. Chicago has permitted the sixth most points to opposing Centers, and Duren is a rebound machine when he is on the floor. In three matchups with the Bulls last season, Duren put up 38, 24, and 31 combined points and rebounds.
Since Paolo Banchero went down, Bitadze has become a starter for the Magic. He has been putting up solid enough numbers and doesn’t warrant a line as low as this. In his seven games without Banchero, Goga has exceeded this mark in five of those contests, averaging 9.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. He will go up against Jusif Nurkic and the Suns who have allowed the sixth most points and 10th most rebounds to Centers.
