We’re headed to Game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight! The Celtics won the first game of the series handily after a slow start from the Mavericks. Since that win, they’ve jumped up against the spread in Game 2, sitting at -7.5 with the total at 214.5.

Mavericks vs. Celtics NBA Same Game Parlay
- Leg 1: Kristaps Porzingis 15.5 Points (-120)
- Leg 2: Jrue Holiday Over 4.5 Assists (-142)
- Leg 3: Jayson Tatum Over 9.5 Rebounds (-128)
Kristaps Porzingis put on a show in the first half of Game 1 in the NBA Finals. Porzingis scored 18 points in the first half and finished with 20 points in just 21 minutes of action. While it was said he wouldn’t have a minutes restriction, ultimately, he only played 21 minutes when he usually got around 30 minutes a game. Either way, the Mavericks had no answers for Porzingis, who easily shot over Dallas’ defenders. If anything, he’ll see more minutes than Game 1. That should help.
Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday contributed five assists in Game 1. He’s added at least five assists in every game against Dallas since last season. He’s also earned five assists in three of his previous five games.
Lastly, Jayson Tatum might not be the biggest offensive threat for the Celtics. But he’s easily the best rebounder. Tatum brought down 11 rebounds on Thursday and has now added at least ten rebounds in seven of his last eight games. In Game 1, the Mavericks struggled badly from the field, with only Luka Doncic scoring more than 14 points for Dallas. There will be chances for Tatum to grab rebounds throughout the game.

I’m fading Derrick Jones Jr. tonight. Jones Jr. went 2-for-9 from the field in Game 1 and scored just five points with six rebounds and no assists. Ultimately, he’s scored no more than three field goals in five consecutive games, but he’s hit at least one three-pointer in four straight.
With his low volume and his Under for threes at +.5, I’ll add that into the same-game parlay.
Conversely, Derrick Lively got into foul trouble in Game 1 of the series. He finished with two points and five rebounds but added five fouls and played only 18 minutes. Boston will make it difficult on Lively, especially on the glass. It also might be hard for Lively to get 20 minutes of action if the fouls stay consistent. Let’s add his Under to finish out the parlay.
