It looks like we’re fading Mike Conley tonight. Conley finished with 18 points in Game 2, five assists, and five rebounds. He also shot 7-for-14 from the field and had just two turnovers. But he has an Achilles injury and has been inconsistent in the playoffs.

In Game 1 of the series, he added just six points and tallied only three assists after going 2-for-7 from the field in 31 minutes. Conley hasn’t even added more than five field goals in eight of his last nine playoff games. We’ll fade him tonight.

On the other hand, Kyrie Irving began the playoffs with many assists but has since done most of the scoring. Irving has averaged 25 points per game in this series but still averaged five assists per game. Irving earned six assists in 39 minutes in Game 2 and has nailed this line in seven postseason games so far.

After all, Minnesota ranks 20th in assists allowed to point guards. Irving has nailed this line in 75% of games against Minnesota since last season and has also hit this line in 56% of games this year.

Daniel Gafford has seen 21 minutes in both Western Conference Finals games. He’s averaged seven rebounds in those two games, thanks to nine in Game 1 of the series. While he only added five in Game 2, Gafford has added at least six rebounds in seven of his last ten games. He’s also hit this line in four of his previous five.

The Timberwolves never make it easy on centers. But Gafford has been consistent enough. For example, he’s added at least six rebounds in 75% of his last 20 games.

Meanwhile, Luke Doncic has attempted 21 threes in two games during this series. In those two games, he’s averaged four threes per game. However, he nailed five in Game 2 but just three in Game 1.

The Timberwolves are among the best teams at limiting guards from the three-point line. Doncic can make some circus shots, but the Timberwolves will at least make it hard on Doncic. After all, he’s only nailed four threes against Minnesota in 29% of games since last season.

Finally, we’ll back the Under for Rudy Gobert’s rebounds. Gobert has just 17 rebounds in 76 minutes against the Mavericks in this series. He’s ultimately hit this prop in just one of his last five games.
