Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks
Leg #1: Knicks -5 (-110)
Philadelphia is playing well despite several injuries, winning four of its last six games but losing its last one 120-117 to the Hawks. Despite being banged up, the Knicks have been rolling, winning 11 of their last 12 games, with the only loss coming against the Boston Celtics. Check the injury report before putting money down, but if you can't wait, go with the Knicks to cover.
New York has been practically unbeatable at home (13-1), and they've owned the series in recent seasons, winning seven of the last eight meetings.
Leg #2: Under 229.5 Points (-112)
The over is 8-6 at home for the Knicks this season and 6-4 on the road for the 76ers, but it was 3-1 last season. With both teams playing solid defense lately, I like the under here.
Leg #3: Tyrese Maxey Under 26.5 Points (-110)
Tyrese Mxey is averaging 31.5 points per game (PPG) this season, but just 27.5 PPG through four December games, and finished under this total in three of his last seven games. While he is the 76ers’ primary scoring threat, neither team plays at a quick pace, and the Knicks are one of the league’s better defensive teams.
Parlay Odds: +328 - A $100 wager will result in a $428 payday; your stake plus $328 in winnings.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Leg #1: Thunder -7.5 (-108)
Oklahoma City has been dealing with injuries to several players all season long, but has still been the most dominant team in the NBA, owners of the best record (24-2), the No. 1 defense and the No. 2 offense.
Minnesota is having a good season (17-10), but could be without Anthony Edwards. The Thunder beat the Timberwolves 115-105 early in the season with Edwards active.
Leg #2: Under 230.5 Points (-108)
The Thunder are averaging 123 PPG and should do fine against the Timberwolves’ defense (allowing 114.6 PPG). But Oklahoma City has the best defense in the league (106.1 PPG allowed), and Minnesota could be without Anthony Edwards tonight.
Without Edwards, I don't see the Timberwolves making up the difference to push the final score over the total; the final score was under this total in the November 26th matchup between these two teams.
Leg #3: Chet Holmgren Over 7.5 Rebounds (-138)
Chet Holmgren is averaging eight rebounds per game and had nine against the Timberwolves when they played a couple of weeks ago. He had seven rebounds in each of his last two games but eight or more in the previous eight games. Minnesota's frontcourt will not pose much of a challenge for him as he easily goes over this total.
Parlay Odds: +406 - A $100 wager will result in a $506 payday; your stake plus $406 in winnings.
