Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics

Tobias Harris has scored no more than 10 points in three of his last four games, including two straight, and has hit this line in only 40% of games this season. Meanwhile, he’ll take on a Celtics team ranked fifth in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards. The Celtics also rank fifth in the NBA in field-goal attempts by power forwards. Harris has taken no more than 10 field-goal attempts in the last two games. That should continue tonight.

Jaylen Brown has recorded no more than five assists in three of his last four games. He’s had 10.3 potential assists in each of his last 10 games, but rarely performs well in the assists department against the Pistons. In fact, he’s hit this line in just two of his previous seven games against the Pistons, averaging below five assists in those seven games.

Finally, let’s roll with Detroit’s Duncan Robinson to add at least three three-pointers. He nailed four against Atlanta and has hit at least three three-pointers in four of his last five games. At the end of the day, the Pistons rank dead last in three-pointers attempted by small forwards and 29th in three-pointers made by small forwards. We’ll believe in Robinson here.

Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets

Tim Hardaway Jr. has earned nearly 28 minutes per game over the last 10 games. He’s attempted close to 10 shots per game in that span and has shot 46.1% from the field. However, he’s set to face a Rockets team ranked first in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant has earned three assists in each of his last two games. He hasn’t been able to get over the hump. But we have faith tonight. The Nuggets rank 29th in assists allowed to power forwards. Durant has recorded 7.1 potential assists per game over the last 10, but that number has increased to eight per game over the last five games.

Let’s take Nikola Jokic to go under 11.5 rebounds for the final leg of this parlay. He’s averaged 17.8 rebound chances per game over the last 1o games. But it’s hard to expect that against the Rockets, who rank first in the NBA in total rebounds and in defensive rebounds allowed to centers this season. Jokic might get just 14 rebound chances. It’ll be hard to execute on so few opportunities.
