Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons

Tobias Harris has been incredible to start the playoffs. He’s scored at least 20 points in six consecutive games, including a 20-point performance against Cleveland in Game 1 of this series. Harris is facing a Cavaliers team that ranked 27th in points allowed to power forwards this season. The scoring run likely won’t stop at all in this series.

In addition, Harris has hauled in at least eight rebounds in four straight games. He’s had at least 10 rebound chances in every game during the postseason. The Cavs are also 22nd in the NBA in rebounds allowed to power forwards. Harris has a serious elite matchup against the Cavaliers in this series.

Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell has added no more than three assists in six consecutive games. He’s had no more than four potential assists in three of his last five games in the playoffs. Ultimately, the Pistons rank first in the NBA in assists allowed to shooting guards. Don’t expect Mitchell to dominate in that category.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Deandre Ayton has scored no more than 10 points in two straight games. He’s played 27+ minutes in both of those games, but he’s attempted only 18 field goals in those two games. Ayton is known for his high field-goal rate, but lately he’s struggled. He’s shot no better than 42% in four of his last six games.

On the other hand, Luke Kennard has earned at least three rebounds in seven straight games. He’s also had at least six rebound chances in each of those seven games. After securing five rebounds in Game 1, Kennard’s odds look good for another three-rebound game tonight.

Finally, LeBron James earned just six assists in Game 1 of this series. He’s dished out at least eight assists in just two of his last six games. The Thunder ranked third in the NBA in assists allowed to small forwards. Let’s take James to go under 7.5 assists tonight.
