Saturday’s Best Euro 2024 Bets: Netherlands vs. Turkey

Netherlands vs. Turkey
Turkey were very impressive in their 2-1 win over Austria. They held a very good offensive team in check and scored multiple goals for the third time in this tournament. Austria is a common opponent for these two teams, as the Netherlands fell 3-2 to them in the Group Stage. And while Turkey are a good story, this is the Dutch's match to lose.
The Netherlands have scored seven goals in three games. They dominated Romania in the Round of 16, and now face the worst team remaining in the tournament. Turkey could score a goal in this game, making it difficult for the Netherlands to cover this spread. But they could also give up three goals as they did against Portugal. Mert Gunok made one of the best saves you'll ever see at the end of the match against Austria. He will need to make multiple saves of that caliber to keep his team in this match.
Netherlands -1.5 (+164)
Each of these teams have scored multiple goals in three of their four matches. The only time the Netherlands failed to score twice was when they played to a 0-0 draw against France. But no one has scored more than once against France in this tournament in four games so that performance is an outlier. The only time Turkey was shut out was against a very good defensive Portugal team.
Both teams will likely score in this match. But even if they don't, this is the type of game that is such a mismatch that the Netherlands could end up scoring four on their own. After a low-scoring quarterfinal round, this game will have enough scoring for all four contests. At +205, there is no reason not to take this.
Over 3.5 goals (+205)
