NFL Monday Night Football Player Props: Broncos vs. Chiefs

Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season concludes with an AFC West rivalry game between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs added Kenneth Walker as their RB1 during the offseason, while WR Rashee Rice is back from injury to boost Patrick Mahomes’ wide receiving corps.

Denver also made a splash on offense during the offseason, signing WR Jaylen Waddle. RB J.K. Dobbins is healthy and ready to roll, so we should be in store for an exciting matchup between two teams built for playoff football.

In this Monday Night Football preview, I’m targeting two players in the total receiving yards and total receptions player prop betting markets. Lock in my favorite player props before tonight’s opening kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC) from Arrowhead Stadium.

Kenneth Walker Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

One of Walker’s strengths during Seattle’s Super Bowl run last season was his ability to function as a receiver out of the backfield. Walker now finds himself playing with an elite quarterback like Mahomes, who is arguably the best signal-caller at improvising during broken plays, which bodes well for Walker’s usage as a receiver.

In all three of Seattle’s playoff wins last year, Walker finished with at least 26 receiving yards. Now, his line is set at 18.5. Andy Reid historically likes to target running backs in the passing game, and now he has Walker, who should be a perfect fit.

Walker went Over 18.5 receiving yards in six regular-season games in 2025. His blend of power, agility, and soft hands makes him a great target. Plus, Denver’s stout defense, which will disrupt Mahomes in the pocket and blanket receivers downfield, will force Walker to become a viable receiving target.

Let’s bet on Walker to go Over 18.5 receiving yards at -115 odds during his Chiefs debut tonight.

RJ Harvey Over 2.5 Receptions (-102)

Let’s head to Denver’s running back room and target RJ Harvey as a receiver. Harvey is RB2 behind J.K. Dobbins. While Dobbins’ return from injury will cut Harvey’s usage, expect him to be heavily involved in the Broncos’ passing attack.

In 2025, Harvey logged 3+ receptions in 10 of 17 regular-season starts, while also recording at least 4 receptions in both of the Broncos’ playoff games. He’s a proven receiving commodity and should be leaned on throughout tonight’s matchup against the Chiefs.

Harvey finished with 3 or more receptions in both of last year’s games against the Chiefs. I don’t expect that to change tonight, even with Dobbins back and Waddle’s addition to the lineup.
