The NFL preseason wraps up on Saturday with the final two games before the start of the regular season. The Detroit Lions face the Indianapolis Colts in the first game on Sunday. Then, the Chicago Bears head to Tennessee to face the Titans to conclude the 2026 NFL preseason. Therefore, let's make some money on the last meaningless football games of the year and look at my four favorite bets for Saturday’s two-game preseason slate.

Saturday’s Best NFL Preseason Picks
Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts
Anthony Richardson Over 12.5 Rushing Yards (-115 via Underdog)
Most teams will sit their starters for the final preseason contest. However, the Colts will reportedly play their starters for the first series or two, except for Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor. Therefore, Richardson will start the game with the healthy starters. Yet the former Florida star will likely play with the second-string offense as well, as Richardson is competing with Riley Leonard for the No. 2 quarterback job.
Hopefully, the veteran plays into the second quarter. Yet, Richardson should have no trouble hitting the over on this prop bet. He had 53 rushing yards on only six attempts in the Week 1 preseason contest. Furthermore, the veteran had three rushing attempts for 15 yards last week. More importantly, Richardson has averaged 37.3 rushing yards per contest in his career, totaling 24 or more in all but one game as the starter.
Detroit Lions MoneyLine (+172 via ProphetX)
While the Colts are playing their starters minus Daniel Jones or Jonathan Taylor on Saturday, they will only be on the field for a series or two. Indianapolis hasn't won a game over the first two weeks of the preseason, tying with the New England Patriots in Week 1 (13-13) and losing by 28 last week to the Atlanta Falcons (34-6). Meanwhile, the Lions have played well.
Detroit has a 1-1 record over the first two weeks of the preseason despite not playing their starters or key backups in either contest. They defeated the Washington Commanders 17-13 last week, despite Jayden Daniels and the starters seeing playing time. Furthermore, the Lions nearly defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, losing 16-14. However, Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco had 14 pass attempts and scored 10 points while on the field.
Chicago Bears vs. Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans -2.5 (-104 via Kalshi)
Unfortunately, the Titans' offense has struggled during the preseason, with Cam Ward and the starting unit looking awful against backups in each of their first two matchups. Yet, Tennessee is 2-0 in the preseason, defeating the San Francisco 49ers by six in Week 1 (19-13). Furthermore, they defeated the Seattle Seahawks last week by three (19-16) despite the Seahawks scoring 13 points on their first two drives.
Reportedly, the Titans will play their starters on Saturday evening, potentially seeing the field for more snaps than in either of the first two preseason games. Meanwhile, the Bears will rest their starters for the final game of the preseason. After defeating the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, Chicago lost to the Cincinnati Bengals last week (27-9) despite Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco getting the night off.
Tennessee Titans Team Total Over 19.5 Points (-125 via Caesars Sportsbook)
Can the Titans get over the hump and hit the 20-point mark in their final preseason game? Tennessee has scored 19 points in both of their first two preseason games, coming away with the victory in both contests. While their starting offense was awful in Week 1, they showed some improvement last week. Reportedly, the starters will play further into the game on Saturday than in either of the first two preseason matchups.
The Titans are desperate to get their starting offense in a groove heading into the regular season. Meanwhile, the Bears won't play their starters on Saturday. Chicago's defense hasn't looked great in the preseason, surrendering 27 points to the Cincinnati Bengals last week despite Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco getting the night off. Josh Johnson and Sean Clifford had 282 passing yards and three touchdowns for Cincinnati.
