NFL Week 1 Same Game Parlays & Picks: Bears vs. Panthers
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Chicago Bears @ Carolina Panthers
- Leg #1: Tetairoa McMillan 50+ Receiving Yards (-184)
- Leg #2: D'Andre Swift 2+ Receptions (-253)
- Leg #3: Over 5.5 Total Touchdowns (+100)
This is one of the tougher contests to figure out on the slate, whether in terms of lines or props. That said, the selections for this parlay are quite attainable. The stressful aspect will be the six combined touchdowns. A tough number to get behind indeed.
The total is currently at 48 points. Both offensive units are looking to take a giant step forward this season, and that could get started right out of the gate. We opted for the over on total touchdowns rather than taking them separately, since one team could go off for four touchdowns while the other falls short at two. There is no safe side to this selection. We are just trying to take a more logical stance.
The next two legs should be cleared with not much trouble. D'Andre Swift will be used out of the backfield on multiple plays in the passing game. Whereas, Tetairoa McMillan is the main target for the Panthers and will more than likely see around 7-9 targets in a high-scoring game that could reach 50+ points.

NFL Same Game Parlay Strategy
Same game parlays allow bettors to combine multiple markets from one NFL matchup into a single wager. The potential payout increases with every selection, but every leg must win for the parlay to cash. That makes thoughtful construction and disciplined bankroll management especially important. Here are five principles to consider when building an NFL same game parlay.
Build Around a Clear Game Script
Before selecting individual legs, decide how you expect the game to unfold. Will one team play from ahead and lean on its running game? Will an underdog be forced into a pass-heavy comeback attempt? Each selection should support the same overall prediction. Building around a logical game script creates a more cohesive parlay than simply combining several props you like.
Look for Correlated Outcomes
The most natural same game parlays feature outcomes that can succeed together. If you expect a quarterback to exceed his passing-yardage total, pairing that leg with a receiving over for one of his primary targets may make sense. A favorite's moneyline can also align with its lead running back exceeding a rushing prop if you anticipate a positive game script. Avoid combining selections that depend on conflicting versions of the game. BettingPros emphasizes pairing complementary bets and avoiding contradictory legs.
Start With Your Strongest Bet
Identify the wager you have the most confidence in and use it as the foundation of your parlay. Then add only the selections that fit alongside it. Every additional leg creates another way for the ticket to lose, so resist adding marginal bets solely to chase a larger payout. A shorter parlay built around your best analysis will generally be easier to justify than a long ticket filled with unnecessary selections.
