NFL Sunday Night Football Anytime & First TD Scorers: Cowboys vs. Packers

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook

Dallas Cowboys First TD Scorer: Javonte Williams (+180)

Unfortunately, Williams hasn't been very efficient this season, averaging 3.7 yards per rushing attempt. While he has had under 63 rushing yards in all but one game, including fewer than 46 in three contests, the veteran running back has been a scoring machine. Williams has six rushing touchdowns, the fourth-most in the NFL entering Week 6. Furthermore, he has had at least one touchdown in all but the Week 2 matchup against the Washington Commanders.

The veteran has five rushing touchdowns over the past three weeks, scoring at least once in every contest. Williams has more games with two scrimmage touchdowns (two) than zero touchdowns (one) this year. More importantly, he has had the first Cowboys touchdown in three consecutive games. Meanwhile, the Packers have surrendered eight rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs, the second-most in the NFL, with four of them being their opponent's first touchdown of the contest.

Green Bay Packers First TD Scorer: Christian Watson (+425)

After struggling with injuries for most of his career, Watson has stayed healthy this season. The former North Dakota State star has been one of the top wide receivers in the NFL over the first five weeks, especially when it comes to finding the end zone. The veteran has six receiving touchdowns, the second-most in the league entering Week 6. Furthermore, he has found the end zone in all but one game this year.

Last week, Watson had two receiving touchdowns in the win over the Chicago Bears. It was his second game this season with two receiving touchdowns, also totaling two in Week 1. More importantly, he has scored the first Green Bay touchdown in two of the past three games. Meanwhile, the Cowboys didn't give up a receiving touchdown to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver unit last week. However, Emeka Egbuka did have a rushing score.

Anytime TD Scorer: MarShawn Lloyd (-145)

Reportedly, Josh Jacobs will come off the Commissioner's Exempt List on Monday. Therefore, Lloyd will be the Packers' starting running back for Sunday night's game. Unfortunately, the former USC star has struggled this year, averaging 2.8 yards per rushing attempt. However, Lloyd is coming off the best game of his career, scoring two rushing touchdowns against the Bears. More importantly, he was Green Bay's featured running back, as Kaleb Johnson didn't see the ball until the fourth quarter.

Lloyd has a chance to score twice (+390) for the second consecutive week, thanks to the matchup. The Cowboys' run defense has been far from elite. They've surrendered five rushing touchdowns to running backs, the third-most in the NFL entering Week 6. Furthermore, Dallas has given up two receiving touchdowns to running backs, the third-most in the league. The Cowboys have allowed at least one touchdown to opposing running backs in all but one game this season.

Anytime TD Scorer: Matthew Golden (+165)

Many owe Golden an apology after calling the former Texas star a bust following a quiet rookie year. After failing to find the end zone last season, he has two receiving touchdowns over the first five weeks, the second-most on the team behind Christian Watson (six). Furthermore, Golden has found the end zone in two of the past three weeks. While he hasn't had the same touchdown luck as Watson, Golden's target volume has been far more consistent.

Despite being the team's No. 2 wide receiver, Golden has averaged 8.8 targets per game, seeing at least six in every contest. By comparison, Watson has averaged eight targets per game but had only three two weeks ago. More importantly, the Cowboys' pass defense can't stop a nosebleed, let alone an impressive passing attack. They've surrendered six offensive touchdowns to wide receivers over the past four weeks, the third-most in the NFL, allowing at least one in every outing.
