NFL Sunday Night Football Anytime & First TD Scorers: Ravens vs. Falcons

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook

Baltimore Ravens First TD Scorer: Derrick Henry (+185)

Only a few NFL running backs do a better job of finding the end zone than Henry. The future Hall of Famer has seven rushing touchdowns this year, the most in the NFL entering Week 5. Furthermore, the superstar has had at least 10 rushing touchdowns in eight consecutive seasons entering this year. More importantly, Henry has at least one rushing touchdown in every game this season, scoring two or more twice.

Furthermore, he had a three-touchdown performance in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts. More importantly, Henry has scored the first Ravens touchdown in three consecutive games. Meanwhile, the Falcons surrendered two rushing touchdowns to Alvin Kamara last week, including the New Orleans Saints' first score of the contest. More aggressive bettors should back Henry to score twice (+400) as Baltimore will need to lean on the future Hall of Famer with Lamar Jackson not playing.

Atlanta Falcons First TD Scorer: Bijan Robinson (+135)

The Falcons’ offensive game plan every week is built around Robinson. The superstar has found the end zone in all but one game this season, with that lone contest being the Week 2 matchup where Atlanta failed to score a touchdown. He has been on fire since the Falcons got Michael Penix Jr. back under center, scoring two rushing touchdowns in both games the former Washington star quarterback started despite being on the road in both matchups.

More importantly, the former Texas star has scored the first Atlanta touchdown in every game where the team found the end zone this year. Furthermore, Robinson has accounted for five of the Falcons’ 11 offensive touchdowns over the first four weeks. Meanwhile, the Ravens' run has struggled this season, surrendering four rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs. The first touchdown scored against Baltimore has been by a running back in all but one game, including back-to-back contests.

Anytime TD Scorer: Zay Flowers (+210)

Unfortunately, the Ravens won't have Lamar Jackson on Sunday night because of an ankle injury. Thankfully, Tyler Huntley has been a solid backup for Baltimore. Yet, expect the Ravens to lean on the run game and give Flowers several designed touches during the contest. While Derrick Henry has seven of the team's 14 offensive touchdowns this year, Flowers is the only other player with more than one, totaling two, despite missing time with injuries.

Despite limited experience playing with Huntley, Flowers has been solid. The former Boston College star had 11 receptions on 14 targets for 93 receiving yards and a touchdown in Huntley's two starts last season. Furthermore, he found the end zone in the backup's last start. Meanwhile, the Falcons' pass defense has struggled to keep wide receivers out of the end zone lately. They have surrendered three receiving touchdowns to opposing wide receivers over their past two games.

Anytime TD Scorer: Brian Robinson Jr. (+240)

Raise your head if you bet on Robinson to score three touchdowns last week against the New Orleans Saints. Now put it down because you're clearly lying. Despite averaging only 11.8 touches per game this year, the veteran backup is second on the team with four touchdowns, posting a 9.1% rushing touchdown rate. Furthermore, all four of Robinson's rushing touchdowns have come over the past two weeks with a healthy Michael Penix Jr. under center.

Atlanta has two elite receiving threats in Drake London and Kyle Pitts. Yet, neither has found the end zone over the first four weeks. By comparison, Robinson is sixth in the NFL with four rushing touchdowns, accounting for 36.4% of the Falcons' offensive scoring total this season. Meanwhile, the Ravens have surrendered four rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs over the first month, including allowing Tony Pollard to score his first touchdown this year last week.
