Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts
It’s no secret that the Colts have had an easy schedule to begin the season. Ultimately, the Colts ran into trouble in Week 9 when they lost 27-20 to the Steelers. The score probably looks closer than the game actually was. Daniel Jones turned the ball over five times, including three interceptions. He was also sacked five times and fumbled twice.
That was enough for the Steelers to win the game.
On the other hand, the Colts are set to face the Atlanta Falcons, who have lost three straight games. This team has lost to the 49ers, Dolphins and Patriots, while scoring just 10 points in two of the last three games. That said, the Falcons still have a solid defense. This is the same defense that held the Buffalo Bills to 14 points in mid-October in a 24-14 shocking win.
The Falcons will be desperate, and a game overseas could help them stay focused and competitive against a Colts team coming off a pretty deflating loss. Atlanta has the offensive pieces to compete with a healthy Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London.
Let’s back the Falcons +6.5.
Pick: Falcons +6.5 (-115)
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are about to enjoy a fire sale at the NFL trade deadline. Jaylen Waddle might not even be around this weekend for the Dolphins. After firing their general manager, the Dolphins are practically throwing in the white towel. The season is pretty much over.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills just escaped the Kansas City Chiefs. They’ve won two straight over the Panthers and Chiefs, both of whom have winning records. The Bills beat the Chiefs by seven and held on to their lead for most of the game. Meanwhile, the Bills defeated the Panthers 40-9 on the road, which looked pretty substantial in retrospect.
The Panthers just knocked off the Packers in Lambeau Field on Sunday.
While yes, it’s a divisional game. Don’t be surprised if the Bills absolutely destroy the Dolphins on Sunday. Miami’s season is pretty much toast. In the Dolphins’ last two losses, Miami has scored no more than six points. The Dolphins last lost to the Ravens, 28-6, after Lamar Jackson returned. But while Jackson returned, he didn’t play on the defensive end. Baltimore’s defense has been dreadful all season, but the Dolphins still had no answers.
Give me the Bills -8.5.
Pick: Bills -8.5 (-110)
