NFL Week 8 Confidence Pool Picks
(1) Steelers | Packers vs. Steelers
Aaron Rodgers will get the last laugh, beating his former team in his final start against them in his career.
(2) 49ers | 49ers vs. Texans
Despite all of the injuries, the San Francisco 49ers continue to find ways to win. Mac Jones will start again, and I’ve got plenty of confidence that he’ll produce on the road against Houston.
(3) Chargers | Vikings vs. Chargers
Are the Vikings milking J.J. McCarthy’s injury so he doesn’t have to start yet? That’s what it feels like.
(4) Cowboys | Cowboys vs. Broncos
Denver has escaped with two wins against both New York teams. The Broncos could’ve easily lost both games, and probably should’ve. Dallas’ offense will do enough to win.
(5) Buccaneers | Buccaneers vs. Saints
While I think the Buccaneers will win, I’m not nearly as confident as the actual odds are.
(6) Ravens | Bears vs. Ravens
With Lamar Jackson back under center, the Ravens can’t afford another loss.
(7) Patriots | Browns vs. Patriots
New England is playing really good complementary football. It’ll go a long way against Cleveland.
(8) Eagles | Giants vs. Eagles
How will the Giants recover from such a brutal loss last week? They won’t.
(9) Chiefs | Commanders vs. Chiefs
The Commanders were very exciting last year, winning many tight games and converting on numerous fourth downs. The regression was coming. In addition, Jayden Daniels is dealing with numerous injuries. Give me the Chiefs.
(10) Bills | Bills vs. Panthers
The Panthers have a winning record through seven games. That certainly won’t be lost.
(11) Bengals | Jets vs. Bengals
Tyrod Taylor might make this game more interesting, but the Bengals look elite with Joe Flacco under center now.
(12) Falcons | Dolphins vs. Falcons
Is this the final game Mike McDaniel will coach for the Dolphins?
(13) Colts | Titans vs. Colts
Indianapolis is legit. Very legit. The Titans fired their head coach a couple of weeks ago. So there’s that.
