The Warriors missing both Steph Curry and Draymond Green opens the door for other players to step up. Chris Paul will undoubtedly be one of the cogs to keep the train rolling. Last game without the two he played 36 minutes and finished with just four assists, but had a potential of 17 in the game. He shot 6-of-14 and had 15 points as well. The Thunder have improved defensively, but still play very fast (4th in pace), and have allowed the most assists to opposing guards. With Paul starting, he should see upwards of 30 minutes and find a way to a double-double.
Additionally, they have allowed the fourth most points per game to opposing shooting guards. So, turn to one of the culprits from the brawl the other day, Klay Thompson. Admittedly, he has not been at his best all season long, but he will see the shot volume in this one, no doubt. In 20 games without Steph last season, Klay averaged 26.4 points per game and had at least 22 points in 14 of those contests.
Leading the Thunder with 7.5 rebounds on 15 rebound chances per game is none other than the rookie Chet Holmgren. He has seven or more boards in six of his last seven games, one of which came against Golden State where he found eight. At least one big man has gone over this mark against the Warriors in five of their last six games.
