    Minnesota Twins (+142) at Detroit Tigers (-168) | O/U 9.5 (-110/-110

The Twins (30-38) and Tigers (28-39) battle in the second installment of a three-game series at Comerica Park on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. ET.

Both teams have been quite disappointing this season, especially the Tigers, who entered the 2026 season with designs on a return to the postseason after a promising run in 2025.

Minnesota turns to RHP Mike Paredes (0-0, 4.91 ERA, 1.09 WHIP) for his first Major League start, and just his third-career appearance. He allowed three runs, two hits, and a walk in 3 2/3 IP in an 8-6 setback Thursday against the Kansas City Royals at Target Field in his first home appearance.

Detroit counters with LHP Framber Valdez (3-4, 4.21 ERA, 1.32 WHIP), as the southpaw looks to win consecutive starts for the first time this season. He allowed just one run, five hits, and two walks across five innings in a 7-3 win over the Seattle Mariners on Friday.

The Twins are just 9-13 in 22 tries against left-handed starting pitchers this season. Detroit won 10-4 in Tuesday’s series opener and is worth backing on Wednesday, as they look to clinch the series win. Minnesota has dropped three in a row, and five of the past six outings, too, while the Over has cashed in seven consecutive road contests. The Over is 3-1 in the past four home games for Detroit, too. Let’s go high on the total.

    Picks: Tigers Moneyline (-168) & Over 9.5 Runs (-110)

    Atlanta Braves (-156) at Chicago White Sox (+132) | O/U 7.5 (-110/-110

The Braves (45-22) and the White Sox (35-31) meet at Rate Field for the second of three games in this interleague series. Chicago scored a 6-5 win in the series opener, but if it is going to clinch the series win, it will need to find a way to defeat former ChiSox ace LHP Chris Sale (8-4, 2.23 ERA, 1.03 WHIP).

Sale is beatable away from Atlanta. At home, the veteran southpaw is 4-2 with a 1.26 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. But, on the road, Sale has 4-2 with a 3.16 ERA and 1.00 WHIP across 37 IP across six starts.

The White Sox are expected to counter with RHP Davis Martin (8-2, 2.61 ERA, 1.11 WHIP). He was roughed up in Minnesota last time out, coughing up six runs and 10 hits with three walks in 4 2/3 IP in a loss on June 2nd. However, he is 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA and .194 opponent batting average in 29 2/3 IP across five home starts at Rate Field. He has surrendered just three homers in 72 1/3 IP this season, including only one at home.

We’ll still side with the Braves and Sale, as the White Sox are 9-10 vs. LHP this season. We’ll also go low on the total, as this should be a very good pitching matchup.

    Picks: Braves Moneyline (-156) & Under 7.5 Runs (-110)

    Houston Astros (+104) at Los Angeles Angels (-122) | O/U 8.5 (-105/-115

The Astros (31-38) and the Angels (26-42) meet at Angel Stadium in Anaheim at 9:38 p.m. ET in the final game on the schedule on Wednesday.

Houston turns to RHP Peter Lambert (5-4, 3.55 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) as it looks to secure the series win. Houston won 5-4 in the series opener Monday behind RHP Spencer Arrighetti, while the Angels pounded the Astros 10-1 on Tuesday as the Over (8.5) cashed. Los Angeles rolls with LHP Reid Detmers (2-5, 4.26 ERA, 1.14 WHIP), and the Astros are just 8-11 this season against LHP.

The Astros are just 5-6 across the past 11 games since May 29, while the Over is 2-1-1 in the past four outings. For the Angels, they’ve posted three wins in the past nine tries. It’s been feast or famine for the Angels on offense, going for 10 or more runs five times in six wins since May 26.

Houston is a strong play behind Lambert on the road, however. Detmers allowed three runs and six hits across 4 2/3 IP with nine strikeouts in an 11-9 loss in Houston on March 28. Let’s back the Astros to get the job done, and we’ll go high on the total.

    Picks: Astros Moneyline (+104) & Over 8.5 Runs (-105)
