There’s one game on the WNBA slate tonight, and the standalone matchup is a good one. The New York Liberty will visit the Las Vegas Aces for a 10:00 pm tip-off on Prime Video.
This is the fourth of five meetings between the two teams this year. The Aces have just three losses all year, and two of them came against the Liberty.
Can New York stun Las Vegas for a third consecutive game?

New York Liberty vs. Las Vegas Aces
All three games have been blowouts between the Liberty and Aces. However, the Aces blew the Liberty out in the first meeting, and the Liberty destroyed the Aces in the two most recent matchups.
Just two nights ago, the Liberty defeated the Aces 82-62 on the road. This was the second straight game against the Aces in which the Liberty held Las Vegas to 63 points or less.
The Aces have gotten zero help from the bench and only had three players reach double-figures in that WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals against the Liberty. Meanwhile, the Liberty had five players in double figures, including Marine Johannes, who played 14 minutes off the bench and added 17 points on 5-for-7 from three.
The Aces don’t typically shoot a poor percentage from the floor. They only hit 33.3% from the field and shot 19.2% from three in that most recent game. New York knows how to defend the Aces well, but adjustments are coming. The Aces have averaged 94 points per game this season and have only scored 124 points in two regulation games against the Liberty. They’ll turn the corner here and help push the Over to hit.
The Liberty have scored at least 81 points in all three games against the Aces this season, and at this point, both offenses are good enough to reach 90+ points. We should finally get a competitive, high-scoring game between the two best teams in the WNBA.
