Chicago Sky (+360) at Atlanta Dream (-9.5) | O/U 180.5 (-110/-110)
The Sky are 13-12 ATS this season, while the Dream are 10-15. The line has danced between -10.5 and -9.5. I see this as a sort of proof of concept in this situation that 10.5 keeps getting bent back down to 9.5.
Although it would appear the dream have right the ship with a 3-1 SU record on the heels of a five-game skid. However, those three wins came against the Seattle Storm, Los Angeles Sparks, and Toronto Tempo. These three teams have a combined 26-50 record.
Chicago has won back-to-back games and is 5-4 SU in their last nine. Conversely, Atlanta is 3-6 SU in their last nine. The only current playoff team with a worse record in their last 10 games is the floundering New York Liberty, who are two and eight.
Chicago has only lost by 10+ points once in their last nine games. They have also won twice against the Fire, who beat the Dream in Atlanta on July 11.
Chicago will definitely keep this one close, and despite Atlanta's 11-game winning streak against the Sky, I see a ton of value in their +360 moneylne. Considering this lonely line opened at +440, it would seem the public agrees.
