WNBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (7/19)

The WNBA treated us to three exciting games last night and has three more today to round out the weekend. With many of the league's top players suiting up, it should be another great day for betting on WNBA player props. Here are my top picks for today's games.

Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Paige Bueckers Over 22.5 Points (-106)

Paige Bueckers is averaging just over 20 points per game this season and has gone over this total in only 10 out of 23 games. While she has gone over this total once in her last four games, she has gone over it in five of her last eight, and she has scored 22+ points in seven of her last eight games.

Against the league's worst defense (Los Angeles allows 93.8 points per game this season), Bueckers will clear this total as long as she doesn't get pulled early.

Kamilla Cardoso Over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-108)

Kamilla Cardoso is having a solid season for a lackluster team, averaging 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. She finished well under this total the last time these teams met. But she has gone over this mark in 14 out of 24 games this season, including in eight of her last 10. When these teams first met, Atlanta played solid defense. But Atlanta’s defense has been slipping in some respects of late. Teams are averaging a league-low 27.6 rebounds per game against them but scoring 90.4 points per game.

The only problem here may be whether Cardoso attempts enough shots. She'll probably need to make a couple more baskets than usual since Atlanta is tough on the boards. But if she takes double-digit shots, Cardoso will pull down enough boards to go over this total.

Leila Lacan Over 13.5 Points (-113)

I'm a little surprised the sportsbooks didn't bump this total up a couple of points after Leila Lacan scored a career-high 26 points against the Mercury on Friday. She has finished under this total in 10 out of the 16 games she has played this season, but has gone over it in four of her last six.

Against a Phoenix team allowing a league-high 95 points per game over the last five games, and with guards averaging 50.1 points per game against them, I love Lacan’s chances of going over it for a third consecutive game.

Kahleah Copper Over 21.5 Points (-106)

Kahleah Copper went under this total in Friday's game by 0.5 points, but has finished over it in six of her last eight games. Connecticut has played decent defense of late, holding teams to fewer than 85 points per game over the last five. But they have had a hard time containing guards this season (48.5 points per game allowed).
