Natasha Howard 8+ Rebounds (+134) WNBA Player Props
Natasha Howard's standard rebounds line is set at 6.5, which is right in line with her 6.8 rebounds per game season average. However, the price for the over is set at -140, and rightfully so. On August 1st, Howard dominated the Wings, grabbing a season-high 16 rebounds. It was her second double-digit rebound game against the Wings, as she pulled down 13 against them earlier this season.
With so much success, you'd expect this total to be set higher tonight. However, Howard does have a two-rebound game against the Wings this season. But when you look at all she has done against them in her other two games, that performance feels like an outlier. Plus, Howard enters this game hot. She has grabbed at least seven rebounds in three of her last five games, and should have no problem continuing her outstanding play against a team allowing 34.4 rebounds per game. This total is too focused on what Howard has done this season and not what she's done against the Wings. Take advantage of this elevated price for this low number.
Paige Bueckers Over 18.5 Points (-102) WNBA Player Props
Paige Bueckers scored only 17 points on Sunday, but it's hard not to be optimistic about her potential for tonight's game. She's scored at least 20 points in four of her last five games, and she has scored fewer than 17 points just once since the All-Star break. With such a high floor entering tonight's contest, getting her right at her season average feels like a must-play.
When you look at what Bueckers has done against the Fever this season, it becomes even more obvious that the over is the right play. She has scored at least 21 points in all three of her games against them, including 22 on August 1st. In the first meeting between the Wings and Fever, Bueckers scored 27 points. She has shot at least 50% in all three of her games against the Fever. You could consider taking Bueckers to score 20+ points in this game for a great price, but with her standard line set at -102, there's no reason to get too ambitious with this play.
Julie Allemand Under 5.5 Assists (-112) WNBA Player Props
Despite Julie Allemand averaging 4.8 assists per game, she's favored to record more than 5.5 tonight. She did record 10 assists in her last meeting with the Liberty, one of her highest totals of the season. However, in her only other game against the Liberty this season, she managed just three assists in 38 minutes.
The Liberty are allowing 20.3 assists per game, which is the sixth-most in the league. Therefore, this isn't that bad of a matchup for Allemand. She enters the game with at least seven assists in three of her last four, and with success against the Liberty earlier this season, it makes sense that the over is favored tonight. But this is a player with five or fewer assists in 15 of her 22 games this season. That's a hard stat to overlook. Oddsmakers have overcorrected for recent performances. Take advantage of that by playing the under tonight.
