Wings vs. Sun WNBA Same Game Parlay
- Leg 1: Brionna Jones Over 11.5 Points (-106)
- Leg 2: Arike Ogunbowale Over 23.5 Points (-118)
- Leg 3: Arike Ogunbowale Under 4.5 Assists (-125)
The Connecticut Sun are off to a hot start. They’re 6-0 to begin the season and have five players in double-figures through those first six games.
While DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas have led the charge, Brionna Jones has been one of the most consistent scorers on the team. Jones has added at least 16 points in three consecutive games despite playing no more than 27 minutes in any of those games. In addition, Jones has shot at least 50% in every game and isn’t a three-point shooting threat. So, she’s always taking shots around the paint area.
Since last season, in the previous 30 games, Jones has added at least 12 points in 80% of her games. We’ll back her Over to begin this parlay.
Meanwhile, the Wings are led by Arike Ogunbowale. She’s scored 28.8 points per game but already has a couple of 35+ point performances this season. While Ogunbowale only scored 20 points against the Los Angeles Sparks, she still took 30 a season-high 30 shots. She just went 0-for-8 in that game. But the last time she had a bad performance from three, she came back to score 40 points and shot 7-for-12 from downtown. A bounceback for Ugunbowale is in the cards. That said, her assists take a hit when she’s had major scoring outbursts. So we’ll back the Under with her assists for tonight’s game.
WNBA Same Game Parlay Odds: +534
Mercury vs. Lynx WNBA Same Game Parlay
- Leg 1: Sophie Cunningham Over 8.5 Points (-132)
- Leg 2: Kayle McBride Over 3.5 Assists (-130)
- Leg 3: Courtney Williams Over 5.5 Rebounds (-110)
Sophie Cunningham isn’t taking a high volume of shots. After all, she only took six shots in Phoenix’s last loss to the New York Liberty. Yet, she still added nine points after nailing two threes, one foul shot, and another two-point shot. Ultimately, Cunningham has hit at least two threes in all but two games this season. She’s also been to the line for at least two shots in every game. The consistency is why she’s nailed at least nine points in 70% of her last 20 games since last season.
On the other hand, Kayle McBride has averaged nearly four assists per game with the Lynx this season. She’s hit this line in all but one game this season. McBride typically gets at least 30 minutes, but the only time where she didn’t rack up enough assists was when she scored 31 points against Atlanta.
While she’s a great scorer, she’s never taken more than 13 shots in a game. She was just red-hot from downtown in that win against Atlanta, where she got 31 points. That type of game is unsustainable.
Finally, we’ll rock with Courtney Williams to go Over 5.5 rebounds. She’s added six or more rebounds in 67% of games this season and has nailed this line in four of her last five games. Eventually, Williams will be a triple-double threat. But for now, a game with 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists seems typical of her.
WNBA Same Game Parlay Odds: +458
