WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Wednesday (6/10)

WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Wednesday (6/10)

We've got a relatively quiet night in the WNBA with two games on the schedule - the Connecticut Sun versus the Toronto Tempo and the Los Angeles Sparks versus the Seattle Storm. Slates like this are ones I really like to bet on WNBA same game Parlays (SGPs).

When neither team is overly impressive (like in these games), I'm a little hesitant to take the underdog and the points or the favorite and lay the points. But the Moneyline doesn't offer any value. To make the game worth betting on, I combine a few props into an SGP.

Wednesday’s Best WNBA Same Game Parlays

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Connecticut Sun vs. Toronto Tempo

Leg #1: Toronto Moneyline (-340)

Yes, the Sun are down two important players in Aneesah Morrow and Brittney Griner (officially questionable but don't count on her to play), but that didn't stop them from putting up a good fight against the Liberty the other night. Toronto should still win this game, but I can't say they'll win by nine points or more.

Leg #2: Leila Lacan Under 12.5 Points (-132)

Leila Lacan is taking enough shots to have a decent night on the scoreboard, but she just isn't making many (29.5%). At that rate, there is no way she takes enough shots to go over this total. Toronto's defense isn't great, but it’s good enough to keep Lacan from going off.

Leg #3: Marina Mabrey Under 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-106)

Marina Mabrey went over this total in six out of nine games in May but has not done so yet in two June games. The Sun has a mediocre perimeter defense, so it's really a coin flip on whether she goes over or under, but the -125 odds on the over are not worth it.

Leg #4: Aaliyah Edwards Under 11.5 Points (-114)

Aaliyah Edwards’ best chance to go over this mark is if Brittney Griner and Aneesah Morrow are out. If they are, she should see enough shots to have a chance. But the Tempo will know this and defend accordingly.

Parlay Odds: +570 -A $100 wager will result in a $670 payday; your stake plus $570 in winnings.

Los Angeles Sparks vs. Seattle Storm

Leg #1: Sparks Moneyline (-290)

There is no doubt that the Sparks are the better of the two teams, but the Storm play solid defense at home. I'm not confident L.A. can cover the 6.5-point spread.

Leg 2: Kelsey Plum Under 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

For a player averaging 25 points a game, the over should be easy, right? Normally, I'd think so. But Kelsey Plum had a 16/6/7 line the other night against a mediocre Portland defense at home. Against a good Seattle defense on the road, I'm leaning towards the over.

Leg #3: Dominique Malonga Over 14.5 Points (-110)

A couple of years ago, I would have thought Cameron Brink was capable of defending someone like Dominique Malonga, but not with how she's played this season. I don't think the Sparks have someone who can defend her in the paint. If Malonga plays close to 20 minutes, she'll go over this total.

Parlay Odds: +459 - A $100 wager will result in a $559 payday; your stake plus $459 in winnings.
