Best NCAA First Four PrizePicks Player Props
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Tuesday, March 14th's college basketball action.
Jamarius Burton Over 13.5 Points
The Panthers’ leading scorer is averaging 15.6 points per game this season. He has scored at least 10 points in nine consecutive games, and he has cleared 13.5 points in five of those contests.
The Bulldogs' defense could be the best he has faced this season, but he has had success against other great defensive teams this year. Against the Virginia Cavaliers, he scored 15 points in a 68-65 win. The Panthers don't have to score a lot for Burton to get his points. Even if he struggles from the field, he's going to put up enough shots to hit this number.
Trevian Tennyson Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
For many of you, this is likely the first time you've ever heard of Trevian Tennyson. He's the leading scorer for the Islanders, and he is averaging 2.9 made three-pointers per game. He actually wasn't all that great from deep in the Southland Tournament, only attempting five three-pointers and knocking down four. But these numbers were an anomaly. He ended the season with at least six attempts from deep in 15 consecutive.
The Redhawks are 263rd in the country in three-point field goal percentage allowed. This is a recipe for disaster for SEMO, and a recipe for success for Tennyson.
Tolu Smith Under 9.5 Rebounds
Smith has been outstanding for the Bulldogs in the last three games. He has pulled down at least 11 boards in each of those contests while scoring 27 or more points in two of them. It seems foolish to take him to go Under when he is playing so well, and his defense is going to cause a lot of missed shots for the Panthers.
However, the Bulldogs' defense has been great all season, and Smith is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game. The Panthers are going to miss some shots, but on the season, they are only 21 spots behind the Bulldogs in opponent rebounds allowed per game. Smith isn't going to have a huge game in this one. It's all going to be very average.
