Atletico Madrid will need to defeat Botafogo by three goals to advance to the quarter-finals, as it lost to Paris-Saint Germain 4-0 in the opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup. While Atletico Madrid scored three goals against Seattle, it’s unlikely they’ll find enough offensive efficiency against Botafogo. After all, Botafogo defeated Paris-Saint Germain 1-0 earlier in the tournament and are at the top of Group B with six points.
Against Paris Saint-Germain, for example, Botafogo allowed just two shots on goal the entire game. In this game, Botafogo will have no problems playing conservatively. They’ll wait for the right time to counterattack, but should be able to hold Atletico Madrid off the board. After all, they’ve allowed just one goal in the first two games of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Let’s take Atletico Madrid to score under 1.5 goals.

Seattle Sounders FC vs. Paris Saint-Germain Picks & Bets
The Seattle Sounders have been eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals. They’ve earned zero points through two games and have no chance at making it to the next round.
Meanwhile, Paris-Saint Germain began the tournament with a 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid, but were stunned by Botafogo in their most recent game, losing 1-0. Botafogo was super disciplined and looked great defensively. But don’t expect that from Seattle. Seattle has already conceded five goals in two games, resulting in a -3 goal differential through those two games.
Additionally, Paris-Saint Germain isn’t guaranteed a spot in the next round after losing to Botafogo. With a win over the Seattle Sounders, they’ll likely make it through to the quarter-finals. That said, they’ll at least start this game competitively knowing what’s still at stake.
Paris-Saint Germain should respond after a lousy performance against Botafogo. Back Paris Saint-Germain -2.5.

FC Porto vs. Al Ahly Picks & Bets
FC Porto and Al Ahly both suffered losses in their most recent matches. Therefore, both teams are third and fourth, respectively, in Group A. FC Porto and Al Ahly both have just one point, but FC Porto has a slightly better goal differential heading into this game.
Neither team has been eliminated from the quarter-finals yet. Since Palmerias and Inter Miami CF are facing each other tonight, there are outcomes where the winner of this game earns a spot in the quarter-finals.
FC Porto is likely to win the possession battle in this game. They’ll be more efficient and likely earn more opportunities in this game. Meanwhile, Al Ahly will look to capitalize on their transition. They’ll be patient and await any mistakes from FC Porto, then become aggressive in pursuit of a potential shot on goal.
If FC Porto can still be disciplined throughout this game, they’ll break through and win a tight, low-scoring matchup. Take FC Porto in the three-way market.

Inter Miami CF vs. Palmeiras Picks & Bets
Inter Miami CF will battle Palmeiras for the No. 1 slot in Group A. Ultimately, Inter Miami CF tied Al Ahly in the opening game of the tournament, but earned a 2-1 win over FC Porto to put themselves in position to be the No. 1 team in Group A.
On the other hand, Palmeiras tied FC Porto but defeated Al Ahly 2-0 in their latest showdown. Palmeiras loves playing wide offensively and will look to cross a lot of balls. They’re strong when it comes to set pieces and are super fast in transition.
Inter Miami CF isn’t nearly as good. But they’ve got Lionel Messi, who buried a free-kick against FC Porto last time out. Of course, Inter Miami CF runs through Messi. They’ll also try to press early and keep Palmeiras off-balance tonight.
Ultimately, Inter Miami CF will be aggressive, but the moment Palmeiras gets in transition, Inter Miami CF can fall with a defensive lapse. We’ve seen this plenty of times. I’ll roll with Palmeiras in the three-way market.
