Türkiye vs. Australia
We start things off with a total points bet that is just about perfect with regard to the average points combined for Türkiye and Australia through their first games. Australia couldn't seem to find the correct rhythm, resulting in 39 missed shots out of 67 attempts. The Australian team hoisted up nine three-pointers, and only connected on nine. Türkiye was locked in against Belgium until the third quarter began. Türkiye shot 44% from the field and hit 10-of-29 three-point attempts.
Australia and Türkiye combined for over 60 three-point attempts in 40 minutes of play. That's more than enough volume to instill confidence that this contest will go over 144.5 points. Australia turned the ball over on 22 possessions while forcing 20 turnovers, including 11 steals, in their first game. Between the shot volume and the turnovers, we expect a wild pace in this contest.

China vs. Czechia
This is a tough game to figure out, which makes it the most enjoyable. Both teams prefer to run set plays, yet China is very partial to pushing the ball in transition. One team has a commanding size advantage, while the other relies more on chemistry rather than on standout playmakers. We opted to attack the points in our parlay, but based on scoring and turnovers, we feel taking China to win by nine points or more makes the most sense.
It's difficult to envision Czechia finding a way to stop China from scoring down low, as they try to score against a 6-foot-11 player and a 7-foot-4 player. Czechia will have to rely heavily on three-point shooting, and that doesn't seem to be their strong suit. They only scored 54 points in their first game, and Italy does not have anywhere near the size or relentless pace of China.

Puerto Rico vs. Belgium
Belgium is one of our sleeper picks to win it all. In this contest, they face a Puerto Rico team that appears to be severely outmatched. Belgium fought back from a one-point halftime deficit on Friday and was leading the contest by 17 points going into the fourth. The Belgians are a highly skilled group that features one of the best players in the world, Emma Meesseman, who finished with 27 points in the first contest of the tournament.
The current total for this game is 147.5. We don't even need 40 points in the quarter. Belgium opened their contest against Türkiye by scoring 26 points through the first 10 minutes. Puerto Rico is obviously the reason the line for the first quarter is so low. Puerto Rico scored 54 points on Friday. However, Belgium also allowed 24 points in the first quarter on Friday. It's highly possible for Belgium to throw up 30 on their own. We just need Puerto Rico to start out a little more efficiently this time around.

Team USA vs. Italy
We close out our best bets for the day with a bit of a layup. The first quarter offers up the lowest spread in this contest. Yet the first 10 minutes of this contest could be particularly troubling, considering Team USA is still forming its rotations. As expected, the veterans started the last game, and the youth came off the bench to set the game ablaze. Credit to the vets who opened the game with six three-pointers in the first 10 minutes. We don't mean to be cold. However, it doesn't really matter who Team USA puts out there; Italy seems quite cooked.
Cecilia Zandalasini is a fantastic player who makes any WNBA team a little better with her shooting and size. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the talent to battle the entire USA squad on her own. This will be the first FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup appearance for Italy in over 30 years. Team USA has won four straight FIBA tournaments. When the second wave hits, Italy is most likely going to sink, resulting in an 18+ point deficit going into the half.
