The next Signature Event on the PGA Tour tees off at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, for the 50th edition of the Memorial Tournament. Scottie Scheffler returns seeking a three-peat at a difficult par 72 designed by Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead.
Long, thick Kentucky bluegrass rough stands at over four inches, with 5,000-square-foot bentgrass greens that run upward of 13 feet via Stimpmeter. Finding greens in regulation is going to be tough on a course running close to 7,600 yards in length.
My 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge Picks & Predictions: PGA Longshots looked like we had another winner heading into the weekend with Jordan Smith at 80-1. However, the Englishman faded with a +4 blow-up in Round 3, settling for a T13 finish instead of the outright win.
I’ve found three of my favorite longshots to target in the PGA Tour outright winner betting market ahead of Thursday’s opening round at the Memorial Tournament. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free picks and analysis for the remainder of the PGA Tour season.

Keegan Bradley (+8000)
It’s been a down season thus far for Keegan Bradley. He’s yet to post a top 10 finish, while securing a pair of top 20 finishes at the RBC Heritage and Truist Championship, which were also Signature Event fields.
There is a cut line enforced at Muirfield this week. Bradley has four missed cuts in 2026, which is the first hurdle. However, he does rank 30th in total driving, 32nd on 200+ yard approach shots, and 60th in proximity.
In 2025, Bradley carded a T7 finish here at “Jack’s Place” and has three total top 10 finishes at this event. Let’s drop a quarter unit (0.25) on Bradley to break through with his ninth PGA Tour victory and first at the Memorial this weekend.
Nick Taylor (+10000)
We typically see Nick Taylor get up for big events like the Memorial Tournament. The Canadian has five outright wins under his belt, claiming victory in three straight seasons. He’ll look to extend that streak to four consecutive years at Muirfield this week.
Taylor has gone T9-T14-T26 in his past three events played. He’s coming off a solo fourth-place finish at the Memorial Tournament last year.
In 2026, Taylor ranks top-40 in total strokes gained. This includes 31st in SG: Approach, 39th in driving accuracy, 52nd in proximity, and 14th in scrambling.
If Taylor can clean up his putting, which used to be a bright spot, he can launch himself into contention at a lucrative 100-1 price.
Eric Cole (+12500)
Heartbreak once again hit Eric Cole with his third career runner-up finish on the PGA Tour during his playoff loss to Russell Henley at the Charles Schwab Challenge on Sunday. Cole will either fizzle out or come back with renewed energy at the Memorial Tournament. I’m willing to bet on the latter.
Cole has yet to post a top 20 finish at Muirfield. However, he’s logged three top 10 finishes in his last four starts this season, while ranked ninth in SG: Putting, 40th in SG: Approach, and 32nd in total strokes gained.
The putter is a huge weapon for Cole. He leads the PGA Tour in putting average, while also sitting second in one-putt rate and putts per round. It’s why Cole ranks 12th in scoring average, 14th in birdie average, and 15th on par 4s.
125-1 is simply too good to pass up on a quality golfer like Cole.
