    2026 Preakness Stakes Predictions: Chip Honcho

    • Post Position: 6
    • Odds: 5-1

    Chip Honcho has had an up-and-down start to his career. He won two of his first three races, but he’s finished outside of the top three in two of his last three races. His best recent finish was a second-place run at the Risen Star, a race in which he beat Golden Tempo. However, his most recent start was at the Louisiana Derby, where he finished fifth and faded badly in the final stretch. That said, Chip Honcho will be fresh for this race, which is his first since March 21. Yet, while I’ll include this horse in some exotics, I don’t see much value in the 5/1 morning line.
