2026 Preakness Stakes Predictions: Crupper

There’s really nothing to like about this horse aside from two wins in his last three races. Crupper has six starts, finishing third or worse in four of those races. Trainer Donnie Von Hemel hasn’t picked up a major racing win since 2018 at the Honeybee Stakes. And while jockey Junior Alvarado was aboard Crupper during his most recent win at the Bathhouse Row, I don’t expect Alvarado to have the same success against a stacked field.
