2026 Preakness Stakes Predictions: Ocelli
- Post Position: 2
- Odds: 6-1
After a massive third-place effort at the Kentucky Derby, Ocelli now finds himself one of the favorites entering this race. On one hand, this makes sense since neither Golden Tempo or Renegade, the two horses that beat Ocelli in that race, are running on Saturday. But on the other hand, this is a horse that has never won a race. Ocelli has finished sixth in two of his last four races, and he was third at the Wood Memorial. I’m not convinced that the Kentucky Derby was actually a sign of how good this horse is. I’ll still include Ocelli in some exotics, but there is a much larger body of work to look at aside from the Kentucky Derby. And, honestly, it’s not favorable for Ocelli.
