La Liga Picks & Predictions: Barcelona vs. Real Madrid

Matchday 10 of La Liga is here, and I'm breaking down three of the biggest matches of the weekend. I make a pick for El Clásico below. Check out our top predictions for Barcelona vs. Real Madrid.

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid

Sunday's El Clásico is the biggest match of the weekend, as Barcelona looks to stay undefeated and atop the La Liga table. Barcelona's offense is dominating right now, with 39 total goals, 16 more than any other team. Barcelona has scored at least three times in all but one match this season, and that two-goal performance was way back on Aug. 27.

Raphinha has scored 12 times, while Lamine Yamal has scored eight goals and assisted on four others. In all, five Barcelona players have scored multiple goals, and 13 have scored at least once.

All that said, there is reason to believe that Real Madrid will be the first team to slow Barcelona down. Real Madrid has allowed just one goal in its last two matches, despite facing two squads averaging more than 1.4 goals per game.

While Real Madrid has scored 23 goals, the second-most in La Liga, the team's games against Atlético Madrid and Real Betis finished as 2-1 and 1-0 losses, respectively. The offense simply didn't show up against the best competition, but the defense played well. I expect Real Madrid's offense to struggle again, while Barcelona takes a more tactical approach in this rivalry game.

Pick: Under 3.5 Goals (+160) & Barcelona (-155)
