Washington Wizards vs. Charlotte Hornets

It may sound crazy to back a perennial loser like Washington, but these aren't your Daddy's Wizards. This squad has talent, and we haven’t seen them at full strength with AJ Dybantsa still on the mend. But they are 2-1, scored 120+ points in both wins, and gave a solid Toronto team a good fight in their one loss (112-102).

Charlotte is also 2-1 but will miss key players tonight: Kon Knueppel and Coby White (both ruled out, along with Grant Williams and Kylan Boswell). Because of that, I'm taking Anthony Davis to lead the Wizards to their second road win.

Neither team has been overly impressive on the defensive end. While Charlotte is down a couple of players, some will try to step up. Whether they do so will decide the game, but either way, I expect both teams to score north of 115 points tonight.

Naz Reid scored 20, 17, and 23 points in Charlotte's three games. With Knueppel and White out, I'd expect more of the offense to flow through him making it likely he will finish over this total tonight.

Parlay Odds: +625

A $100 wager will result in a $725 payday, your stake plus $625 in winnings.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Houston Rockets

I hesitate to take a team to beat another in consecutive games. But Houston took down Atlanta Saturday without Fred VanVleet or Marcus Smart available (121-114). With one or both back and this game in Houston, I expect the Rockets to put on a show for the hometown fans.

Alperen Sengun only had 17 against the Hawks on Saturday but put up 23 and 29 in Houston's other two games. So, it is not hard to see him going over 20.5 tonight at home, given how the Rockets are playing inside.

Saturday's game totaled out at 235, but Houston likes to play at a slower pace, and I can see them being in more control of it tonight with VanVleet back.

Parlay Odds: +475

A $100 wager will result in a $575 payday, your stake plus $475 in winnings.
