Best College Football Parlays & Picks: Week 1 (2026)

Week 0 kicked off the 2026 college football season, but this weekend, we’re getting treated to a full slate of games, featuring the rest of the AP Top 25 teams in action. There are some massive point spreads, like No. 1 Ohio State laying -50.5 against Ball State and No. 14 BYU as -51.5 point favorites against Utah Tech.

My Best College Football Parlays & Picks: Week 0 (2026) settled 1-2. However, cashing the Under parlay on the Aer Lingus Classic between UNC vs. TCU and NC State vs. Virginia at +253 odds put us up 0.53 units. Losses came on my road underdog parlay (NC State +4/Jacksonville State +7) and UNLV moneyline + team total over parlay (+114) during a home loss to Memphis.

With so many games set for Week 1, it’s important to exercise bankroll management and to pick our spots. Fortunately, I’ve found three games that hold value for building SGPs. Each of my best Week 1 college football parlays is worth 1 unit.

College Football Parlays for Week 1

Stanford +24.5/Under 48.5 (+192)

It’s an early-season ACC tilt between Stanford and the University of Miami. The Hurricanes are coming off a National Championship appearance that fell just short, so expect head coach Mario Cristobal’s team to have plenty of fire heading into a matchup as a 25-point road betting favorite.

Stanford overhauled its personnel, including two of the most critical positions: head coach and quarterback. Davis Warren will slot in as Stanford’s QB1 in 2026, as the former Michigan signal-caller will operate in a new scheme under first-year head coach Tavita Pritchard.

The ‘Canes were a wagon in 2025, especially on defense, ranked fifth in the nation in points allowed per game (14.8). Now, QB Darian Mensah takes over Miami’s QB1 position after stints at Tulane and Duke.

Miami’s game plan should be to ground-and-pound, leaning on their defense to stifle Stanford. However, this is a new Cardinal regime that benefits from playing a home game in prime-time on Friday night.

Let’s take the points with Stanford and Under 48.5 in a SGP during a matchup that should pan out as a slow, methodical pace of play from both sides.

Western Michigan +27.5/Under 49.5 (+196)

We’ve got an in-state matchup between the MAC and Big Ten when the Western Michigan Broncos head to Ann Arbor to take on No. 16 Michigan. The Broncos won the MAC in 2025, relying heavily on a top-10 scoring defense in the entire FBS.

Kyle Whittingham takes over a Michigan program looking to return to its former glory under head coach Jim Harbaugh. It’s been a tumultuous time since Harbaugh’s departure, although QB Bryce Underwood is an attractive developmental project in the second year of his collegiate career.

Western Michigan has plenty of continuity with the same coaching staff and a talented backfield with QB Broc Lowry and bell-cow RB Jalen Buckley.

The Wolverines have the same offense intact from a year ago for the most part. Plus, Whittingham’s defensive dominance with Utah for over a decade should show up in this game.

Western Michigan only failed to cover +27.5 once last season during a shutout loss on the road at No. 9 Illinois. That result is being baked in here, so let’s take advantage and throw the underdog (Western Michigan +27.5) and Under 49,5 into a SGP at +196 odds.

Louisville +6.5/Under 55.5 (+248)

On Sunday night, we’ve got a fun top-25  showdown between No. 24 Louisville and No. 9 Ole Miss. QB Trinidad Chambliss is back in the saddle for the Rebels, who played well during the College Football Playoff, overcoming the circus of Lane Kiffin’s departure.

I’m sticking with the theme of this betting preview and taking the underdog’s point spread and point total under to get +248 odds. Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm has Ohio State transfer QB Lincoln Kienholz as QB1, with seven other transfers starting on the Cardinals’ offense.

Louisville finished as a top-40 scoring defense under Brohm in 2025. The offense was also a top-50 unit, but now, we’ve got a lot of new personnel facing an Ole Miss defense that surrendered 23 or more points in seven of 15 games played last season.

+6.5 is a bit suspect. I’d prefer +7.5, so wait if you can get that number closer to kickoff. However, I like Jeff Brohm and am excited about his new offense. I also don’t want to side with the public, who are hammering Over 55.5 and Ole Miss -6.5

Let’s rip this +248 SGP on Louisville +6.5/Under 55.5 to finish Week 1 with a bang in prime-time on Sunday night.
